We spent 3 nights at the Avista Hotel and felt this was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our trip to Thailand.
Our room was spacious, comfortable and had lots of amenities. The room was cleaned daily to a good standard with fresh towels and complimentary water.
The staff were friendly and upon welcome we received a cool towel, drink and flowers! We tried to book a trip to Phi Phi through the hotel however due to be being pregnant none of the companies would allow me to travel on the speedboats, although this was not the hotels fault they sent complementary fruit to the room on two occasions for the inconvenience which was a lovely gesture.
There is a wide selection of food for breakfast and the restaurant menu had a good selection of Thai and Western food. We eat in the restaurant a few times and received good service and good food!
I used the Spa for a facial and a massage. Again the service and treatments were fabulous and good value for money - worth a visit if you fancy some pampering.
The pool was clean and we had no trouble getting a sunbed at any time of the day.
Overall this was a lovely hotel and wd enjoyed our time at the Avista and we would stay here again if staying in Kata.More
