“Upgraded before we arrived!”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

This elevated our anticipation and we weren't disappointed. We arrived late in the day and were greeted to a light dinner served in our room. The location was picturesque and was away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket but close enough to Kata beach for alternative dinner choices. We spent 5 nights here before we continued for a month through South East Asia and it was the perfect way to start our trip. Staff and service was impeccable and we are planning a return visit next year.

Room Tip: Penthouse room was beautiful.

As I sit here waiting for the aiport shuttle to pick my Wife and I up to return to Sydney, i thought i would use the time to pen some thoughts on our experience staying at this wonderful boutique hotel. We have stayed here the past 9 nights. This was a gettaway for us while our son was on a school trip to China, and I must say, my wife and i are really happy we stayed here. From our arrival to departure, the staff here have been fantastic, attentive, friendly, and have assisted us in many ways, nothing was to much trouble, and as many have written before, you almost feel like one of the family whilst staying here.
This is our 4th trip to Phuket Thailand, we have previously stayed at the Amari,Merlin Beach resort, and the Kata Beach resort. This Hotel far outrates any of the previous hotels we have stayed at, and is indeed a special experience. We stayed in a beach villa room overlooking Kata Noi Beach. Magnificent views to ponder from the balcony. The pools and gardens around the complex were also wonderful, and my wife and I were fascinated by a little pond, teaming with life each morning as we walked past to breakfast. Breakfast was included in our stay, and the staff were once again fantastic. Eggs to order, and a wonderful feast of hot and cold items for breakfast.
We had a special dinner at Mom Tri's restaurant, and i can say that our meal lived up to our expectations. Whilst fine dining is not cheap, the price was reasonable compared to the equivalent we would have paid in Australia, so we were very impressed and glad we tried the restaurant.
We will be back to Mom Tri's villa royale. This has been a truely memorable experience for us both, and the photo's we have taken will "Keep us here" till we return :)

Room Tip: Beach wing room 21 for magnificent beach views of Kata Noi.

We traveled during the low season with 2 children. We enjoyed Mom Tri's a great deal during our travels in Phuket. The location can't be beat, the architecture is superb (the bar room was our personal favourite), and the restaurant and food are terrific. This is a place to return to.
Our rooms (in the old wing) were beautiful, comfortable, and well serviced.
The views of Kata Noi beach and time spent at the pool, bar, or restaurant watching and listening to the waves crash on the rocks below is ideal.
The only drawbacks were significant construction that left the pools inundated with noise and workers. We were not told of this at time of booking, which is poor form. On reflection, this is indicative of the generally impersonal service-level that was offered. Not bad have you, just not up to the rest of the experience.
This is a small, boutique hotel that bills itself as offering the "highest standards in privacy and comfort." It does that, and at an amazing location.

Great service in a friendly atmosphere here. Booked this as the last stop on out (excellent) tour of the region with Andaman Sky, we also went to Railay and Koh Yao Noi, plus Bangkok. Of the 3 Andaman destinations we liked Koh Yao Noi the best, but the hotel on Phuket ie this one was pretty hard to beat, so overall I’d say it got the favourite badge from us. The service is speedy and attentive to detail, the accommodation is very good for the price charged, the resort is a peaceful and tranquil refuge away from the madness that is Phuket. Would return

Stunning hotel in Kata Noi overlooking the amazing Andaman sea . A quiet location with a beautiful beach and nice pool, this is the place to stay ! The buffet breakfast is wonderful and restaurant is well worth a visit . Staff are very pleasant and eager to please . Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Loved the afternoon treats around 4pm and turn down service. The hotel provides a free shuttle into Kata , otherwise it's a hilly 5 to 10 min walk up the road . Overall , I highly recommend this hotel and would love to go back in the near future !

After staying for a week at the Sheraton in Krabi which was a lovely but a little 'generic' in that it was the same as many hotels and could have been anywhere in the world. We checked in to Mom Tri's, and from the moment we walked in to the reception there was a feeling of having found an authentic Thai experience. We were greeted as if we were old friends. The lady at reception appeared to drop everything in order to deal with us, and after checking us in gave us a tour of the hotel before showing us to our room . she took the time to show us where everything was and even how to operate the hifi. This friendly helpful service was typical of every member of staff thet we wenountered during our stay.

We were absolutely gobsmacked when we saw our room which was located in the beach wing. It was decorated in a traditional but very stylish manner . There is a Huge Bed and a sitting area. with a corner unit sofa and coffee table. There is everything you need in the room. a safe, a Mini bar / fridge, tea / coffee making facilities and an Iron as well as a TV, Hi fi, Free wifi bathrobes and slippers, The entire front of the room was glass and much of it opens up onto the raised and very private terrace which had a day bed, table and chairs and an outside bath and shower . The terrace has superb views of the bay and beach at Kata Noi. because of the glass front of the room, these views can be seen from the bed What a sight to wake up to every day.

The bathroom is equally impressive with a huge bath and seperate shower and is equiped with a hairdryer, accessories and fine quality soaps, gels and shampoo. the bathroom can be opened up into the bedroom so you can even enjoy the views from the bath. As with the room and terrace it was kept spotlessly clean . Each evening, the room was turned down and petals or floweres scattered on the bed .

The public areas of the hotel are lovely with a two small freshwater pools and a a beautiful saltwater pool which sits on top of the rocks above the sea. This pool is overlooked by the main dining area and cocktail bar all of which, benefit from beautiful views and sunsets. We only dined at the restaurant a couple of times but on each occasion, the food and service was excellent.

This is a very small hotel with friendly staff who will remember your preferences and will go all out to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They are never too busy to stop and chat to you. On the second day, I went to book a table in the reastaurant for later on during our stay. I asked for a table with a view as it was to be my partners birthday surprise. so much for the surprise , when the day came every member of staff we saw stopped andwished her a happy birthday. Every afternoon, the staff leave two small cakes or pastries in your room. on this particular day there was a birthday cake . Needless to say the Birthday meal was also made special.

I cannot fault this hotel and cannot wait to return. We were so sad to leave. The only negative is not the hotel itself as such but the very steep hill which you have to climb when returning from the town. But then again, that,s what Tuk Tuks are for.

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms at this hotel and all have views. I would highly recommend our room (11) in t...

We were in Thailand for a holiday with andaman adventures and were thoroughly impressed with how well everything was organised with them. We organised a three- stop package holiday with them and our first stop was this fantastic resort. This place is simply gorgeous and deserves all the great reviews it has been getting. The location is fantastic, the beach is clean and just gorgeous. The rooms have great seaviews and the food is second to none in Phuket region. If I ever go back to Phuket again, this will be the place to go.
