Just experienced an brilliant meal in Kata Beach Phuket. If you visit Phuket don't miss this Restuarant The food was amazing and the service first class. I ordered the beef cheeks while my wife ordered the Salmon. We shared a Caprese salad. The food was perfect. The complimentary bread was freshly baked that morning No more needs to be said except to praise the owner Claudio for his attention to detail and presenting himself to his guests. And to top it all off the beautiful food and immaculate service the price was very reasonable.
We are definitely going to return.

Thank phileisa

We visited DaVinci's with our 3 young children and were impressed with the quality of service as well as the amazing authentic Italian food. Prices are high for this part of the world but still only a third of what we would pay in Australia. If you want a treat and feel like something different to Thai food then we would highly recommend DaVincis.

After driving by here a number of times, we decided to try for dinner. We were greeted by the owner lady, she was delightful and explained many aspects of here restaurant. You could tell she has worked in the hospitality trade for a long time, very professional but welcoming. We ordered a pizza to share it was yum. Our main meals were lovely and the service was excellent. The little extra touches like the homemade bread with olive oil and balsamic to begin and the fresh vegetables placed on the table in the glasses on ice to signify freshness used in the restaurant were great. Then to finish off the complimentary limoncello was a lovely touch. Thank you for a great night and fabulous food. Would recommend to eat here at least once while in Kata.

We tried this restaurant on the last night of our holiday in Kata, Phuket based upon the reviews we had read on TripAdvisor.

The restaurant itself is very well appointed and furnished. We were offered a table in the outdoor seating area or the airconditioned lounge. The staff were attentive but not too overbearing. The owner was on hand and took time to explain where some of the ingredients were sourced. The crudetes, bread and olive oil were very good.

The drinks menu was extensive with a good range of cocktails. The wine was a little expensive so we stuck to beer and spirits.

Starters were served promptly. The Caprese salad was excellent with hydoponically grown beef tomotoes and buffalo mozzerella from Italy. The clams with canollini beans was good. Clams were a little small but well cooked and tasty. The calamari starter was nice.

The rissoto main course was slightly undercooked with only small pieces of seafood. The beef cheeks were tender and the mashed potatos were great but the creamed spinach was over salted. The Salmon was cooked just right and the fried zuccinni was excellent. The overall salmon dish was spoiled by the inclusion of a random plum tomato from a can!

The complimentary Limoncello was very welcome.

Overall the meal was pretty good and the host was very attentive. A few minor niggles left me feeling slightly dissapointed but I would probably dine here again.

Please note that 7% Vat and 10% service charge is not included in the menu price.

Thanks for your time and for your very good and detailed review . We are happy to see you enjoy the dinner in our restaurant. We want, also, thank you for allow us to explain some of our "behind the door" work. You wrote about the can tomato on fish dish.......we decide to use -after several test- the can "perini" whole tomatoes from Italian brand "Rustichella d'Abruzzo". In our opinion tthis tomato taste much better (and it is much more expensive) of the fresh same size tomato available locally. The tomato is not simple put on the dish....we first roast for 30 seconds in very hot pan (short time so the tomato don'became too dry) and finish with salt, extravergine olive oil and oregano.
Thank again and Hope to see you back soon.

A group of 4 of us had dinner at Da Vinci's and it was the best meal we had in our trip. Even before we had any of the courses, we were already blown away by their home made bread baked to perfection and the owner's personally made horseradish spread. It's really hard to find a good risotto but DaVinci's nails it. The rice had just the right firmness, the sauce was so tasty and the ingredients tasted like they had been caught that afternoon. I actually ordered a second portion and maybe even a third if the wife hadn't stopped me. Above all else, to see how passionate DaVinci's owner was of food (he claims he can do risotto a few hundred different ways. I believe him) was a true joy. Highly recommended.
