After a week of struggling to find that elusive authentic & inexpensive Thai meal we were recommended to try Home.
Home is situated in a small soi opposite Seven11. 'A' is the cook, host, serving girl & chief dish washer!
Food is made fresh whilst you wait with herbs from the garden next to the kitchen.
Prawn Yellow curry, morning glory & fried rice seafood was delicious & only 150THB.
Will we be back? Tomorrow for sure!

We ate lunch at this hidden local place one rainy day in July. The place is run by a local lady and she is the only one working there. The place was clean and cosy and you can get the drinks from the fridge by yourself. The food was so delicious and tasty and even better than fancy resturant around kata beach.

We took 2 spring rolls , some chicken dish with rice, omelet filled with meat and a meat spicy salad and 2 local drinks. We only paid 400 baht (~10 euro )

Very clean, friendly, homely eatery. Tasty meals enjoyed by all six of us. Service was timely, ample servings. Cold beer, water and ice. Fun conversing with the owner trying out the Thai language. I would recommend to everyone to try.

Only open from 8-5 so head there for lunch or an early dinner. It's run by a single lady who cooks, cleans and waits the three tables inside so if you're in a hurry choose somewhere else, she may take a while to get to you while she's cooking another tables meal.

The food is unbelievably good, simple and straightforward Thai and very cheap. You can watch the cooking as it happens if you like and the owner always has a smile.

I cannot recommend this little gem highly enough.

Please note the restaurant is tiny, only three tables so best for groups of four or less.

My friend know this place from lady iron chef's blog. Turns out, wow, so good! The Pad Thai with (big) Prawns was my fave dish! It cost me 60 Baht. And the Tom Yum Goong cost us 90 Baht. What I love from this place is they give FREE ice and mineral water, haha!

Nearby this place, there is a drink stall that sell Thai Tea for 20 Baht. What can I say? Great food, great drink! But yeah of course not a restaurant, just a humble and honest place. Oh, their toilet also surprisingly super clean.
