“Perfect location and setting for a perfect holiday...we'll be back”

We had a couple of b&bs in mind for our sight seeing holiday to Cornwall, so we looked at the reviews on trip advisor, which were the deciding factor, and we are both so pleased that so many others had taken the time to share their experiences. We have no qualms in agreeing 1,000%. The b&b is in a stunning country setting; beautifully decorated rooms with no details missed including comfortable beds and a great shower; great breakfasts too! Location was perfect for us as we wanted to see all of Cornwall and this was central to our destinations. The most important factor of making our holiday so perfect was Ginny. Ginny and her family were welcoming, knowledgable on where to eat and what to see, and it felt just like Ginny was family. We were sad to leave and are already planning to go back to see Ginny next year. We can't express enough how beautiful the b&b is and how amazing Ginny is.

Room Tip: We stayed in the green room which was beautiful, the red room is slightly bigger, the blue room is t...

A very warm welcome from the Proprietor Ginny made for a fantastic stay at Bolinney Barn. Comfortable and well decorated rooms in a lovely setting. In walking distance of Mevagissey with plenty of pubs and restaurants and easy access to some bracing walks along the picturesque coast line. A good location if wanting to visit the Eden project also. Thank you Ginny, we will certainly be back, you made our get away.

This really was the perfect end to our honeymoon!
We had stayed in a B&B in Mevagissey for the first few days of our honeymoon, then did the last 2 here and I have to be honest I did not want to leave!
Aside from the lovely surroundings, beautiful room, the total peace and quiet, a mattress that you literally want to never move from as it's SO comfotable ( deep Tempur memory foam - need I say more?), and a fabulous breakfast what makes it really special are Ginnie and Dave who run this little slice of heaven!
We had a lovely cream tea on arrival and where just made to feel so welcome, absolutely nothing was too much trouble and we can't wait to go again!!

I am not sure I can add anything to all the previous comments!
We had only planned to stay 2 nights to visit the Eden Project but when I rang Ginny to book she was so enthusiastic about Heligan that we had to add another night ! Heligan was everything we had been promised and more.
Ginny was marvellous at helping us organise our days, places to see, things to do, restaurants to eat in. The accommodation was delightful, idyllic location, spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, wonderful bed / bedding and great breakfasts.
Thank you both for a great few days and have a terrific birthday :-)

Room Tip: The red room was larger and had a private entrance

The mife and I only stayed the one night but wished it was more. Ginny and Dave are superb hosts and the house and room was perfect. They made us very welcome with a cream tea and the offer of a beer out on the lawn. We live in the country ourselves but their location is quiet even by our standards, just the sound of the birds......perfect to relax.
We havn't stopped telling people about how good it was........might have to stop that, or we won't be able to book in ourselves in future!

Rarely do you read a review where (a) there are a reasonable number of reviewers and (b) the comments are consistently good.

Having just spent 5 nights at Boslinney Barn I cannot add or disagree with any of the previous comments.

The location, quality of the accommodation and Ginny, the host, are all excellent.

We stayed at Boslinney Barn for 2 nights at the beginning of June - if only we could have stayed longer! All the previous reviews are absolutely spot on. Ginny was so friendly and welcoming and her husband Dave even offered us a cold beer in the garden - a really lovely couple. Ginny is a genuine local and always on hand to help with what to see & where to eat. The barn has been converted to a very high standard and the rooms are decorated beautifully with all the necessary amenities - a nice hot shower, tea/coffee/fresh milk & even a couple of wine glasses for the use of guests. Ginny cooks a good hearty breakfast, which set us up for the day. What surprised us most was the quality of the bed. Having travelled the world for many years staying in lots of 5* hotels the beds at Boslinney Barn are up there with the best. It's just over a mile down the barn track & country lane into Mevagissey (car park at the bottom) & it was great to sit by the window in the local pub, glass of wine in hand, watching the local fishermen bring in the days catch. We can highly recommend Judes Restaurant overlooking the harbour, which is European cuisine with an asian influence - very tasty. We also had 3 courses at Salamander, which was all great with the exception of the rack of lamb (just a little too fatty). The School House Restaurant came highly recommended but unfortunately it was closed for a few days whilst we were there. Boslinney Barn is an ideal location for the Eden Project & Lost Gardens of Heligan & also the Mevagissey & Fowey area, which we loved. If you're looking to stay in this area don't hesitate - just book Boslinney. Will we return? Absolutely, only next time for longer!!!
