“Lovely People at a Great Prce”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

A group of 8 cyclists spent 2 nights in May 14 at a totally perfect hotel. It met all we wanted, with great service and and enormous courtesy. Although dinner was not generally provided, as a kind concession we were offered as a group an impeccaccable "diner Dieppois", complete with a scallops as a starter. The 4-course dinner was brilliant and throughout our stay we we were treated with enormous kindness and great service. Rooms were very comfortable and clean.

Although 2 miles from the centre of Dieppe, it was very easy to find, on a fairly main, but not not busy, road out of town. Perfect for cyclist heading for the Avenue Verte, as it is on to route to the Avenue. Access back into town for restaurants was simple.

We had 4 twin rooms, and the bill afer 2 days came to less than 100€, including dinner, per person. Thank you Mme Frederique and M Patrick for a really great 2 days .

We needed to get up really early for the first ferry of the day so this little place provided the perfect stopover location. It's not somewhere I'd want to say for a longer time as it isn't terribly charming but it was fine for one night. It was clean enough and functional.

This modest hotel served us very well indeed. A welcoming atmosphere, simple rooms but very clean and comfortable. An agreeable garden and play area for children (much appreciated). An excellent and copious breakfast at a very reasonable price. Local workmen coming into the bar for a quick coffee (and maybe a little something more) reminded me of the France I remember from 30 years ago.

Great little place for a One night stopover. Accommodating English speaking host and lovely little cabin style rooms in a very quiet village setting. Good beer and good breakfast. Recommended if you want a night in dieppe.

we were happy to find a reasonably priced hotel in this area, the hotel looked charming and traditional. there was a great little garden to relax in and the little patio area outside the room was cute. the owners were helpful and the brekkie was more than enough. sadly, the room was a little small, the bathroom cramped, alas in the morning we found a broken shower fitting and a hole in the floor being covered by a bathmat. the owners seemed indifferent about the little problems and we guessed they were not equipped to remedy our discomfort.

Room Tip: do not expect anything other than average, it is good for an overnight stay waiting to travel on

Arrived and was given a fantastic welcome by the owner. She immediately made you feel like part of the family. The room was okay, shower and water pressure was brilliant. Again it was the patron that just made you feel that you wanted to stay longer. We would certainly go back even though a little expensive for quality of the room. Mind you lovely garden and lots of kids facilities. Mmmm... So that's why the place was full of families. Highly recommended.

We arrived to find renovations to the room intended for us were not complete so the room was not available. We were given a different room and assume it was not of the same standard. The room was very small, beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable, the bathroom door was a sliding door that slid behind one of the beds and was very difficult to open (especially from the inside), and the noise from the room above us was considerable. On the plus side, the owner was very friendly and helpful and gave us directions to a number of good restaurants in Dieppe. Parking was in a large fenced lot off the street. There was a very homey atmosphere to the hotel and the price was very reasonable.
