This was our 3rd stay at Bridge House and we're already planning our next visit. The location is great, the house is really well maintained, spotlessly clean and well furnished. What makes Bridge House stand out is 1. John is a terrific host - very welcoming and helpful 2. The beds are so comfortable 3. The breakfast is not to be missed , with local produce and homemade bread it really sets you up for a days walking.

This was the third time we have stayed at Bridge House over the past 10 years and it's always a pleasure.
Swaledale is perhaps the most beautiful dale in Yorkshire, and it will be visited by the Tour de France in 2014, so go there before it gets too popular.
John & his wife are very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was delicious.
Only tiny negative point would be that perhaps it needs a little maintenance, but then we are judging it by our earlier memories.

We went for a couple of nights we booked last minute. John and Anna are the most helpful owners where to go what to see and even offered us a lift from Reeth because the busses weren't running. Bridge House is conveniently situated, the rooms are spacious and spotless and the breakfasts are all local produce, also delicious ! Well worth a visit. The area is stunning. We'll be back.
