We had a great time here! Leonce, the owner greeted us, but he only speaks French and we only speak English (we'll need to practice some french to return) so we used a lot of sign language and laughter. of course, i can say poisson and poulet, so that's what we ordered and hoped it would be prepared to our liking. We needn't have worried - there are only a few choices anyway and all are prepared to perfection. salad arrived first, followed by fritters of some kind (delish!) then my fish and my husbands chicken. I got some lime and a very hot, spicy oil, which I assumed was to put on my fish - Leonce looked surprised to see me doing this, so again much laughter. Anyway, he's a real character and so friendly, I would recommend coming here just to experience him!

There is usually only a few dishes of the day of the menu, but they are very well prepared in the creole tradition. The plus is the direct view on the Caribbean from the terrace and Leonce, the owner, who is the loveliest man.
I recommend this place for the food and the experience!

We arrived late at our accommodation, and this was one of the few places that was open. Despite the late hour, we received good service and a decent meal, with home-made blood sausages.

The owner of this restaurant, Leonce, is a real character. The menu is very limited, sometimes at dinner just a couple of choices that he tells you. Some food comes from his own house, like the cabri (young goat) and boudin (pork blood sausage). The lambi (conch) is locally fished. There is usually grilled chicken or fish for the offer adventurous, both locally sourced and fresh. Try his house punch! We stayed nearby and are here three times. Note Leonce speaks no English!
