I am quite surprised to find such a good hotel in Lahad Datu. Although it does not have much facilities, its room is new, nice and clean. I like the shower design which keep the bathroom dry, and it also have good water pressure with ready hot water. Friendly and helpful staff. The variety for its breakfast is quite limited though. However, by looking at its occupancy rate, you can overlook that.

Good location with quite a number of restaurants within walking distance. It helps to have Serway Hypermarket within a minute walk too. The parking lots facing main road are limited, and those behind the hotel look a bit dodgy. If only the hotel can provide reserved parking for its guests, it would be much better.

The only complain I have is that its WiFi service is unstable. I could not access its WiFi due to some IP problem. My colleague only get connection now and then.

Room Tip: Try to ask for rooms which do not face the main road as those can be a bit noisy at night.

Stayed here overnight during a trip to Tanjung Labian. Made prior booking via Agoda. Arrived late at 10pm and had a quick check in by the competent front desk folks.

Hotel is new, everything works. Good hot shower and toilet - no bath tub though which would have been welcome after a long drive on a 4x4. King Deluxe bed was good, comes with clean white sheets and duvet.

Small negatives - no CNN or TV3 on the telly and tiled floors (thankfully I brought slippers). Internet was so-so in the room. Anyway I was, too tired to be bothered too much about it.
Room service stops at 10pm, so no hot coco for me :(

Breakfast was nothing to shout about but decent enough to get us on our way with business of the day.

I will return.

Room Tip: Do not get the room facing the main road.

Room: The room size quite OK and comfortable. Had sleep with KING and TWIN bed room. The bed was so soft and it makes my nights goes well.. The only disappointment is the flooring. The corridor outside the room is carpet but inside the room are tiles. The tiles looks clean but after a few walk inside the room, I found my foot turn black which indicated the tiles used are not very convincing even though I had ask the Housekeeping to mopped it. Safety box also available.

Minibar: No fridge but it did provide instant coffee and tea and also 2 mineral water.

Bathroom - Quite OK. Only provide limited amenities. The shower if can make it portable so that we can hold the shower instead it attached on the walls.

Location: Located at Sri Perdana which is under Hap Seng properties... it was a very nice place with many types of restaurant available.. from Chinese, Malay and Indian cuisine. Watson also nearby the hotel... the most convincing of the hotel is it just located the same complex building with Servay Hypermarket.. hence guest can shop for clothings and daily use FnB which is just located next door. Since it has a hypermarket, parking facilities are limited during peak hours: 7.00pm - 9.00pm.

Service - Staff is friendly and smile always. Dissapointment happen when I use their iron which had leave a black spot on my cloth. The iron was not cleaned which is had blackspot on it. Had call the front desk to change but till I'm check-out.. the iron still not deliver to my room. However congrats to HOUSEKEEPING as they provide all the things I need especially LAUNDRY BAG. TQ

Value: Valued for money. All rooms include breakfast.

F&B: The breakfast at this hotel was a nightmare. first, the food quality does not monitor. Second, the choice of food was limited in which I can forecast the type of food that the restaurant provide. The most compulsory food that the restaurant provided during my 10 days stay at the hotel: Sausage, French Toast, Nugget. Third, Did you ever ate Nasi Kuning without sambal and additional condiments?? Here you can find it.. hahaha... Fourth: Chilli Sauce was another issue. Since the restaurant provide scramble eggs and nugget/sausage.. no single bowl of chilli sauce was available and every morning I HAD TO ASK FOR CHILLI SAUCE from the waiter.. I hope the Food and Beverages Manager can look at this matter.

Room Tip: Ask the room that face Sri Perdana if you wish for a quiet room as the room that faced the highway will end up awaken by the series of motor racing.

This large, modern hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the busy, noisy downtown area and I would highly recommend it if you have your own vehicle. It is very clean, quiet and the rooms are nicely decorated and modern. It has free parking, wifi, a lovely restaurant and is located beside a very large modern shopping area with beautiful views of the hills and ocean

Room Tip: we had a deluxe king room on the 6th floor facing the hills and ocean

Stayed here for 1 night in December 2012. The hotel is quite new. Good location as it is just beside Servay Supermarket. Very nice room, spacious and clean (stayed in a king deluxe room). Safety box, coffee & tea.

Sadly no wi-fi in room. Breakfast was so-so. During my stay, they served nasi minyak with chicken cooked in soy-sauce. Weird combination. Other dishes were just okay, can't say tasty except for the puddings and small cut cakes. Those were nice. And there's bread for toast.

The area around is still developing. For shopping needful things and food, no problem. But there's no banks within walking distance. There are about 2 ATMs nearby the hotel, which is okay if it is not out of service at that time.

Give it some time, I guess.
