“Feels like home”
Reviewed 3 April 2014

i was staing here on december 2013 until 1st of january 2014, i love the hotel so much, the atmosphere really makes you feels like home and also the staffs and their good service. i don't have any complaints when i was staying here. the owner's father said "you really have to make the guests feels like home" and they succeed for that, i really feel like it. If someday i will gop to phuket again, i will stay again here.

the minus point is only the location is not really close from the night life, restaurant and the beach. nut here is a motor cycle rental near the hotel. but this is also be the positive point of the hotel, since its far from the crowds it means you can feel more quite and peaceful atmosphere when you want to rest or just chillin at the hotel.

It's a lovely place. Clean room and authentically decorated. It's pretty basic, but clean and the staff are very friendly and incredibly helpful. Arguably the best hotel we stayed in on this trip to Thailand! The only downside is that it's a bit far from the bars and the beach.

Room Tip: Try to stay in a bungalow - they look pretty awesome

Great little family run business. Very helpful and professional.
We stayed for one night (gay couple)
Comfortable room. Clean. Good value for money.

The lady who worked there gave us a warm welcome with a genuine smile.
Only downfall was Phuket itself! Tourist trap personified. We were just passing through en-route to the islands. Upon reflection we would have went straight to the ferry port after landing in Phuket from Bangkok.

If you ever have to, or want to, stay in Phuket, I definitely recommend this place.

Boondaree is like a home stay to me, I feel like I am visiting a friend's home. The ambience are cozy and sweet, you can feel it through all the small little decorative items. Owner, winnie, is friendly and helpful. A small scale boutique stay like this come with a pool also and I got the pool view room! The dining place is lovely! It is assessable easily and just another 20 mins walk to kata beach. Along the street you can get convenient stores easily. Definitely a stay worth the penny.

Even though this hotel sits at a very busy and noisy main street, the rooms/bungalows are set in the back garden and are very quiet. The rooms are boutique style and beautifully decorated. Everything is very clean, well kept and comfortable. Most impressive thing: the shower is built like a tropical rain shower. The only small downside: the rooms are not very big and there is not a lot of space to put, hang and store your things. Nevertheless: a very nice and stylish place! Also the family running this place is lovely and very helpful. So overall: a great stay!

Stayed here for 4 nights and it's a wonderful place. The hotel itself is small and boutique-y, really really pretty. For what we paid I was really really pleased with the rooms - lovely clean room with a nice comfy bed and great air conditioning. Bathroom is great and just as described. The rooms and whole place is exceptionally clean, rooms cleaned every day. The best thing about this place however is the owners - Winnie and her husband are just lovely! Categorically 2 of the nicest people we met on our holiday - so helpful, literally nothing was too much trouble for them to help us with. They both speak fantastic English as well which was really helpful (the best we''ve encountered in our travels in Asia) -which really helped, particularly when we had a slight medical emergency. I'd strongly recommend this place to anyone considering playing in Phuket - even though it's not on the beach it's nice to be a bit away from the action (10 minute walk-ish from the beach) and they rent really great value bikes out which we took advantage of for our stay.
Thanks guys for a great stay and hope to visit you again if we are back in Phuket!

From check in to check out this place is brilliant.

It was really hot when we arrived and the lady have us a nice cold drink while she took our booking details.

We paid a few extra pounds to have a superior room, well worth it. Clean, spacious, lovely big bed, good air con, nice bathroom. Just a great place to stay and felt very safe.

It's a ten min walk to town/beach and 200 baht tuk tuk back after a day lazing around. One day the hotel had a power cut so we cooled off in the pool then went up to the room, knowing how hot it was the receptionist came up and again have us ice cold drinks..!! 5* treatment.

We booked our scooter through them and took recommendations on where to eat and had the best meal since arriving.

Could not say enough nice things about this family run hotel. Even when checking out and waiting for the transfer they sat and talked to us and asked for photos.

Wonderful Thai people who run a small fantastic hotel. Would love to stay again.
