Had a great meal at Suay with a group of friends when we visited Phuket. An interesting fusion/thai mix and the prices were very affordable. We particularly liked the shanghai noodles and crab pasta though every dish was first rate. Desserts as well were fantastic. Service was very quick, we kept ordering more and more dishes (group of 7 we pretty much ate the menu) and they all emerged promptly. Noi and Pix were delightful hosts, they recommended a couple local spots for after and we even ran into them later at one of the local bars. Would definitely go back 100% the next time I am in Phuket.

Every dish we tried at Suay was nothing short of perfection. We were really disapointed that we didn't have time to go back a second time before we left.
All meals were served fast and fresh with great service from the staff and management.
The mango, sticky rice and black sesame ice cream was divine. Delicious cocktails too.
Definitely make Suay part of your holiday.

It is not easy at first to spot the place in Takuapa Street. Then Suddenly a cute white and green house appears. It is a small open house with a small garden around it. It is really refreshing. Everything is neat and clean and beautiful. Food was very good, we tried the One Dish Plates (4 of them among us 2). For dessert we tried the mango and sticky rice with black sesame ice cream and found it divine.

Service is very efficient, food was very good and the place is really relaxing and fresh. The bill was less than 1'000 Baht including 4 drinks which is really good value.

We'll go back

Food was excellent, setting surprising (if you look at the photos, you'd imagine this was set in some spacious garden, rather than 15 feet from a busy city centre street!), price very reasonable. Would definitely go back!

Food: Flavors were fresh and they were innovative in the way they put their food together. Of notable mention was "Shanghai Noodles" that was a chef's recommendation. Basically, it was glass noodles rolled into penne style and with pesto sauce and a wasabi garlic sauce on the side. Duck red curry with lychees was also good. the duck was extremely tender and the sweetness of the lychees with pineapples gave the dish a good overall flavor.

Dessert was good. The baked alaskan had Baileys and oreo in it. The classic mango sticky rice was served with a light black sesame ice cream and the sticky rice came in the form of a crispy spring roll.

Drinks: Standard price for cocktails in thailand but they have signature cocktails that cost less than $2 like Green tea milkshake, Cranberry Marshmallow, etc.

Ambience: Restaurant was a small cottage with simple yet modern white and green furniture and outdoor and indoor seating. Spacing between tables was also wide enough to not easily hear the next table.

Service: Always polite, helpful and with a smile.

Location: Is probably the only downside. It is near phuket town but in a very obscure location. Make sure you get the precise address down before heading there.

I rarely give the restaurants I rate such a high rating but I felt that they deserved it for the good overall experience
