This quaint little French inspired place in the old town of Phuket is always good for a relaxed and pleasant dining experience. Located in a traditional Sino-Portuguese shop house, the decor is distinctly continental. The food, while not overwhelming, is reliably tasty and could be described as French home cooking. Among the highlights are the salmon steaks and the pork chops served with a creamy mushroom sauce. Some of the desserts are rather lovely, my favorite being the crepe Parisienne. The staff are nice and helpful. Somewhat incongruous for this kind of place is the very limited wine list. Otherwise the bar is well stocked with a wide range of spirits and liqueurs however. Overall, I'd always recommend this place for a comfortable, casual dinner with friends.

If you like frogs legs, crocodile, wild Bore and a host of other great cuisines, then you must visit Dibuk. Been around for many years and the service and food are always fantastic. Lovely atmosphere as well.

Dibuk Restaurant is the place to visit once for the atmosphere or better yet for a before or after dinner drink. We love the restaurant however due to its location and size it is very difficult to maintain a proper team of chef and server to bring the place to a proper level. We tried the restaurant once and appreciate for the experience but not the food. We noticed the dining outlets in the same street were facing the same problem. Maybe they should pull their resources and create a better neighborhood dining community by offering different services supporting each other.

Shop house converted into a restaurant. Some outdoor seating but the front room is the nicest place to dine. There is a room out the back with a pond and wall paintings which is also pleasant if the main room if full. Tablecloth style dining. Has wine, beer and decent tea (haven't tried the coffee). The Western food is very good - particularly the onion soup, the bacon and potato salad or meat main dishes. The Thai food is also nice, particularly prawns wrapped in fried noodle, crab rolls or a curry. No air-con but usually a passable temperature. A lovely place to relax and enjoy a meal - one of the most pleasant places to eat in Phuket Town, or in fact Phuket island. I have been several times and will go again.
