After being around two weeks in Thailand and trying all kinds of Thai food, our stomachs were craving for some pizzas. This restaurant was right across our hotel, looked clean and the prices were reasonable, so we decided to give it a try.
At first we were not very happy about the service. The waitress did not smile, and did not speak much English, more than that, she barely spoke to us. In the end, she brought us the menu and a piece of paper, where we were instructed to write our order by ourselves, though we were the only customers, and the staff was just chilling there. "Well, whatever", we thought and proceeded to investigate the menu. It had a variety of Italian foods. My boyfriend ordered lasagna, I ordered a tuna salad, and we decided to share a salami pizza.
When we were waiting for our food, the owner (I guess) was feeding her baby right in the restaurant, and the baby was crying really loudly throughout whole our meal. It was a bit cute at first, but quite annoying later, but what could we do... We got our food quite fast, lasagna was delicious, tuna in the salad was definitely from a can, but the vegetables were fresh. When we tried the pizza, we forgot about all our complains, so delicious it was. We have never been to Italy and didn't have a chance to try authentic pizza, but both agreed, it was one of the best pizzas we ever tried. So we forgot about a not very friendly waitress and crying baby, and devoured our pizza. We had great difficulties finishing everything we ordered as portions were quite big, and believe me, we can eat a lot! So we left the restaurant super full and happy.
We would definitely come back to eat there again. For that taste, we certainly can bear not very good service.
