This restaurant could be oh-so-good with some effort put into training the waiting staff. We were six for dinner and ordered a mixture of Thai dishes and international dishes.
The Thai food was all served cold or just about warm. It was quickly returned having been microwaved. We declined these dishes and new ones were prepared (eventually). One diner's fish was still frozen raw in the centre - had to go back for for more cooking. Two more ordered well-done lamb cutlets but got rare - they also made another visit to the kitchen. Another diner ordered medium lamb shank and got well done. Only one diner out of six got a meal which tasted good and could be eaten right away.
All the servings were tiny. The restaurant would appear to be underpriced when viewing the menu, but when you see the size of the portions you begin to understand. Two of us had to order second dishes to feel that we'd eaten something.
Corkage for our own wine was charged very expensively, so obviously they want to discourage people from bringing their own.
Overall it was a let down. We had high hopes on arrival and seeing how nicely decorated it was. It's unlikely we'll go back any time soon.
