Despite its name, this is a restaurant offering predominantly Mediterranean food, the Paella being better than most that I have sampled in Spain and the pasta dishes aren’t bad either! The dining area is mostly open air, watched over by an intermittently talkative parrot. Prices are low even by Paraguayan standards and it is a recommended lunchtime choice for passengers on the Sunday steam train trip from Asuncion’s Botánico Station.
