Modern apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lots of space in all areas, but the large balcony, mainly west facing but also with southern aspects was just beautiful. The shower room/toilet was a pleasure to use, although a separate toilet would have allowed for easier shared use amongst the guests.( I am not sure if this is even a possibility, and is just something that could further improve this sensational property).
The location is central for all the village amenities, as well as the ancient monument (Trophy of Augustus) and the charming old town. There are wonderful views of Monaco from the Trophy.
The daily trip to the Boulangerie takes only 15 minutes, and the goods are delicious.
There are many little restaurants to enjoy a meal, or just a drink or two.
La Turbie is also a great base for visiting many other beautiful little towns, such as Eze, Beaulieu, and Antibes, as well as the bustling Monte Carlo and Nice. Parking in Eze is difficult, but we found it possible in late afternoon.
There is a lovely outdoor swimming pool a short walk from the apartment next to the Tennis Club, but disappointingly it is open only in July and August.
