We stayed in Lanlivery for one week and twice visited the Crown Inn for dinner.
We just got in - and got seated. The Pub is lovely - it`s narrow and typically decorated - we and the Children loved it. It`s really a great athmosphere in there :-)

We had burgers, Steaks - and they even serve children`s dishes - a small menue and afterwards an ice cream :-) We could Change the ingredients as we liked to have.

All the stuff was very friendly and we enjoyed our time there.

If you have some time afterwards - try the footpath next to the Pub - it`s an experience ;-)

We visited as a party of five adults on a lunchtime. The portion sizes are huge and were very good value. Two had the BBQ pulled pork from the specials menu. We both left some as there was so much food. Another member of the party had a burger, one had pan seared chicken and the other had beef and ale pie. Nobody had a dessert, we couldn’t manage one!
Overall, everything was excellent value for money!
The only criticism I did have was that two of us asked for lime and lemonade but were clearly served lime and soda. We didn’t mind too much so drank them anyway.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

This pub is fabulous. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s exactly how you imagine a Cornish country pub, dog friendly and a roaring log fire.
The room was cosy and well equipped, the evening meal terrific and breakfast was superb.
Definitely coming back

A little bit off the beaten path but handy location for Fowey, Lanhydrock, Eden project and Heligan. Breakfast was excellent. Meals in the pub in the evening were also really good with a number of local ales to choose from. The bedroom we stayed in (room 7) was very clean and well decorated. Bathroom was also clean. Tea making facilities also. Water pressure a little low in the shower but OK. Wi-Fi did not work in rooms but was fine in the pub itself. The mattress on the bed was not very comfortable and was our only complaint. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Nice food, nice atmosphere, reasonably priced. Worth a visit if your in the area. The lanes a quite narrow coming from the main road but is fairly easy to find. Lots of free parking available on site. The pub is dog friendly.
