We had an amazing stay at Budyong. We had a beach front accommodation plus the sand bar. We are able to check in early for as early as 9-10am. The room is big enough for the 3 of us. We will definitely go back to this resort.

Before I go to Sinulog weekend, stayed here for 2 nights. The place was good as it just beside the Kota Beach resort, made famous by the 'Camp Sawi' movie because it is the actual shoot location. It is about 15 min walk from nearby restaurants/bars or even ihaw-ihaw (grills) for the budget traveler. Because I was solo, I managed to haggle and got a discount. Wifi area is only in the reception. My lodge was good for two with CR and fan, bungalow type. It has a small veranda with table and chair. Room is a bit dusty probably because of the drab looking curtains.

Resort is beachfront so one can have good view of magic hour or stroll in the beach. Had breakfast in their restaurant located behind the reception, it was decent enough and fairly priced.

We booked their cheapest room accommodation which was 800 pesos. But I guess the price during the low season is 500 pesos. We paid thru the bank which charged us for 100 pesos. So we spent a total of 900 pesos which is not worth it. The standard non-aircon room was very basic and very hot. Good thing we only stayed for one night and we went out for the whole day. It was raining at night that's why we were able to sleep well.

The staff weren't really accommodating, they were very strict about their check out time but when we checked in, we were asked to wait for how many minutes.

We stayed 1 night since Kota Beach rate went high before Holy Thurs. We stayed at Room 24. The toilet door needs repair. The lock doesnt work. They wont provide Toiletries if you won't request. We were allowed for early check-in though. I hope they will repair what needs to be repaired after Holy Week since their price went up (x2).

We booked a room good for 4 pax. The location is good! Far from the port which is good since the water is clear and not polluted. We got a beachfront hut! The place has a veranda too! The room is spacious and cozy. The bathroom is decent enough. There isa resto too. The reception personnel is very accommodating and courteous. Highly recommended hotel in the area. Value for money!
