“Nice church”
Reviewed 20 March 2014

We really love the church because it's near our hotel We went to church every Sunday. It's really amazing though it was destroyed by the typhoon.

“Just Stunningly beautiful”
Reviewed 25 October 2013

If you rent a bike, you should definitely go to this place (est. 20 mins ride to Bantayan city)

Such a beautiful church that was built very very long time ago. I was glad that not much were damaged (besides the minor cracks from the earthquake last week). Took lots of photos and there was alot of history i guess. Looking at historic point of view in terms of structure, I was definitely impressed with the walls made of corals. So beautiful.

“A bit of history in Bantayan”
Reviewed 15 May 2013

I was pleasantly surprised that Bantayan Island has more to offer other than the amazing blue waters and white sands. This is one of the oldest churches in Cebu - it was constructed back in the Spanish colonial era. It is also interesting to note that the church walls are made from coral.

They still do Sunday service here. I think this might be useful information for Catholic tourists who happen to be at Bantayan on a Sunday and would like to hear mass.
