“Wonderful surprise!”
Reviewed 3 May 2014

This was one of nicest surprises and beaches on our trip over Bali. The driver which we hired in Sanur never heard about it and wanted to take us to Dreamland beach but because of nice reviews we insisted we find this one and luckly we did. We first stopped and Pandawa beach and people there explained where it is - just the next bay from Pandawa beach.

You need to make over 300 steps down and in heat it is quite a hard way back but definately worth it. It is like from movies, with caves, green overgown cliffs and cleanest water we have seen around and the snorkelling was good too - best we have seen in South Bali. No facilities, totally wild - only few surfers.

On top at parking place there are also some monkeys.

“Nice hidden beach”
Reviewed 1 December 2013

A nice secluded beach with lots of stairs to go down. Better prepare your stamina and dont come after lunch time as water may rise. Beach ia clean and very nice view with turqouise water. There may be some locals offering crafts or massage service, if you are not interested please clearly inform them as they may be a bit pushy

“Hidden Paradise!”
Reviewed 27 November 2013

Just take one or two steps down the stairs, see if you're not tempted to pass 300ish more steps toward the sound of the hidden beach. It's called the hidden private beach for a reason. White and clean sands, great waves, and some rocks and bat caves. And you can enjoy it much because this place is not quite famous so you might find yourself alone or with not more than ten visitor here, it's practically a private beach. Looks a bit like Padang-padang Beach but much wider, cleaner, calmer, and with greater view. Go surf or just take a nap or read a book here and feel the calm ambiance. The only noise you'll hear is the sound of waves. Prepare yourself to climb the steep stairs on your way back, it's really tiring yet really worth it.

Reviewed 18 June 2013

Great surf spot on the days its small elsewhere, picks up plenty of swell. Leave some energy for the treck back up the steep stairs!
