Came here for a visit for the day whilst visiting Albufeira. Absolutely love waterparks and having 4 main ones on the Algarve, we decided on this one with the transfers included.
And I had a brilliant time. In fact I probably enjoyed this second only to Siam Park. The wait was a bit longer for some slides than others, especially the ones where u wait for dinghy's (as u don't just collect one, u wait in a queue for one before joining the ride queue). Therefore I didn't even attempt to ride The Big Wave as that was easily the longest queue. Also the fact that if u book through a transfer u have to catch a certain coach home at the allocated time and we had to leave the park at 4.30. I had a photo taken with parrots that didn't seem to like me, they were squawking and going crazy on my shoulder. The fact that u just put your things on the grass around the park where there is plenty of room is a brilliant idea I think rather than a battle for sunbeds and that is something I preffered as to other waterparks. But overall the rides are brilliant, the staff are friendly and the park is clean. Only let down by queueing times, an angry parrot and having to leave the park before closing time. Would I go back?? Definately

Visited the park on the 11th sept in 2017.Nice and relaxing, no queues.
This year (2018) we visited it twice with 2 kids (8 and 4yo). First visit on Sunday the 2nd September: great, no massive queues, some rides had no queues at all. Plenty of space to place a towel on the day.
Took a special offer and bought the second visit braslets for 10er per person. Note: they put a nonremoovable braslet on Ur wrist which is Ur pass on the 2nd day.it has to be used within 10 days.
2nd visit was on Thursday the 6th September. Completely different story: packed, long queues(20-45 minutes). Probably due to the fact that the previous 2-3 days were cloudy and chilly OR may be midweek is indeed busier.
Great things:# warm water in all the pools and small kids areas ( unlike in zoomarine).
# my 4year old inspite of her being only 1m tall still could enjoy cool rides like black hole, disco ride, blue hole, special foam slides for under 10s. And the tropical paradise is huge and amazing. She stayed there for hours.great as entry for under 5s is free!!! She also enjoyed the shows.
#my 8yo son being only 1.25 cm tall. Could use all the rides either alone or with an adult. He really enjoyed both days.
# the park is clean, well looked after, easy to understand the layout. staff wear bright wellnoticeable uniform.
Things to be improved:
-- Female staff are less attentive and helpful then guys.
--- pictures are a bit pricey. 10er each... Only 4euro in zoomarine.

It's a must to visit this park when in the area.
Hacks: # we didn't bother with any parasols or sunbeds . We never sat down. Just a towel on grass was enough.
# we even didn't bother with any lockers. I know it was at our risk. But felt absolutely safe and our phones and wallets were just fine without being locked.
# if possible bring a cool box with your own food and drinks as food can be pricey in the park.make sure you don't bring any glass bottles...
Though pizza(@10euro) was yummy.

Love this park, went twice last year and once this year. However, apart from the huge queues (which we expect) both daughters have picked up horrendous ear infections from the pool. Eldest daughter in particular has had it confirmed that she caught pseudomonas aeruginosa and we've scaled it down to the watermark. It develops/grows 16 to 24 hours after contracting, we went on the Tuesday and by Wednesday lunchtime she was in agony. She suffered a perforated ear drum as a result also. She's been in a lot of pain and 2 lots of antibiotics and a swab taken to grow in the lab this is what they confirmed. Be careful folks. Protect your ears when swimming in the main pool. Poor girl also has not been out of cast long after suffering a broken leg in a football match and had to be careful anyway but to then pick this up too has been tough. Shame really as we love the park. A lot busier this year than last, seemed rammed with people but still a good day out despite them both picking this infection up.

We visited on a Sunday as I heard was less busy on weekends and it was great we didn’t have to wait long for rides or food so we managed to go on all the slides in one day. There is plenty to do for all ages, there is a dedicated area for under 10s, slides, swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa. Lots of staff taking photos which they display at the exit if you wish to buy. I would suggest bringing your own food if you can as food is pricey, but a great day out would definitely recommend.

Arrived at 10.15 got in with no que, stayed until 5.30 and got on every ride and most of the big ones twice. Very good day the only negative is the the wild animals such as eagles, owls, snakes and parrots in cages and brought out for pictures with people. All of the water rides very fun and enjoyable longest que was for the big wave which was 20 mins
