A recommendable B&B just some minutes outside of Portree (but still well located). Everything was clean, nice hosts (good some good hints for photo locations, as Tim (host) is a great landscape photographer), great breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay.

What an amazing B&B! Rim and Grace were wonderful host's. Beautiful property with a very comfortable, clean, modern room. Breakfast was delicious too. Tim had some wonderful suggestions for places to hike and I'm glad we took his advice. I would definitely recommend this B&B!

Tim welcomed us with a smile and his wry sense of humour and it only got better. The room and facilites are top notch, the lounge has everything you could want and the breakfasts both fill and satisfy. Tim's photos decorate the place and provide incentve to get out and see it all. Grace was away for our first days but Tim held the fort perfectly, his knowledge of the island was very helpful with suggestions and advice. The B&B is a short 5mins out of Portree wth the Artisan Bakery on the way into town and lots of places to eat in Portree itself.

Tim and Grace are great hosts and they have made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was nicely done and portion was large enough to keep us full for a long while. Their place is situated in a quiet location, away from the crowded Portree Town but just a short 5 mins drive there for stocking of supplies and food. The room is spacious and well-maintained decorated with stunning pictures took by Tim. You can get beautiful, unobstructed sunset view out of the window too. Its location makes it a good base for exploring the island. We highly recommend their place and will not hesitate to stay there again if we ever make another trip to Skye.

Room Tip: We stayed at the Woodend room which is on the second floor and got a nice view of the sunset. Not su...

I stayed at Grasmhor as part of a Photo Workshop held on the Isle of Skye. The owner Tim Wilcock is an experienced photographer who holds Workshops and Tuition sessions around the Island. He runs the B&B with his wife Grace and both where very friendly and welcoming. The house itself is just outside Portree in a nice, rural location. The room I stayed in was first class, roomy, extremely clean and with it's own generously sized bathroom. A good sized lounge with tv was also available and the whole house is decorated with TIm's excellent photo's of Skye. Depending on the time we got up for our photo expeditions we had different breakfast's, but I did get to sample one of Tim's full cooked breakfast's one day and it was very good indeed.
If you're looking for a nice B&B when touring Skye I would heartily recommend it, and if you're keen on photography or looking to improve basic skills, Tim is a great teacher and mentor.

Tim and Grace were welcoming, wonderful hosts and we loved our 2 day stay at Grasmhor. We had some rental car challenges on the way to Skye and asked Tim if he might recommend a driver so that we could tour without the stress of navigating the single track roads. Tim offered his services and provided a perfect afternoon of touring and hiking. With his photographer's eye, Tim showed us the most picturesque spots that we never would have found on our own and all in our family agreed it was a highlight of our holiday.
