Fantastic accommodation equipped with everything from a dryer to cooker, a mini home away from home, i enjoyed my stay here, rooms where cleared frequently. Note on site shop is quite expensive loved the sunna and the swimming pool which was heated in winter.

Room Tip: book the disneyland shuttle in winter as it does get cold waiting for the bus to take you there

Such a neat little place owned by Marriott as part of their vacation club offerings. We stayed here during a one night stop to visit Disneyland Paris. We took the train from London straight to the Disneyland train station. From the station we took a quick 10 minute cab ride to the Marriott Village resort. At check in the lady was SUPER nice. She was very sweet and provided us with many tips for our next stop to Paris. She gave us a map and pointed out places she would highly recommend in order of what she thought was best. She understood English and spoke it very well. She was just so nice!! It was a nice way to start our stay at this resort. We were able to check in early and they gave us the keys to our room which was a two story villa. Very spacious! You walk in and have a nice small little kitchen with a small little laundry room (which was nice because it was about time for us to wash some clothes - we were visiting several places in Europe and took an opportunity to do a little free laundry here). You have a 6 people dining room table with a living room that included, couches, TV, coffee table, and entertainment center. There is a patio outside with two chairs and a table with a view of a little lake. Up stairs we had two bedrooms. One with twin beds and the other with a king size bed. The widows up stairs opened up so it was nice to do that and breath fresh air at night. Overall it is a very spacious villa but it appeared a bit out dated. Clean... but outdated none the less. The resort had a little grocery store on site where you can stock up if you wanted to use the kitchen so it was really nice having that as an option. They bake fresh baguettes at the little store and OMG they were so good. The lady who bakes them was SUPER nice. EVERYONE at the resort was very nice. We took a shuttle to Disneyland which you can buy access to from the resort (it is a resort run shuttle). We bought a one way ticket though since when we planned on coming back was after the last shuttle pick up. We took a cab back, but again it is about 10 minutes and very cheap. We didn't care for Disneyland but we did really enjoy Downtown Disney! Overall, I'd definitely stay here again if I were coming back to Disneyland. If not, it is very far from Paris so it wouldn't be too convenient. Neat little stop and very enjoyable.

Start with the good- minutes from Disneyland; very big villas (we had a 3 room villa over 3 floors that was very well kitted out) perfect for our family. Great shop on site (ok its more expensive than going off site but had everything you needed) Staff at the shop, kids club and bars very friendly. Kids club team very good with the children.
Great and large grounds
Needs improvement :- indoor Pool far too small for the size of the resort (yes the outdoor one is huge when it opens but does not help in winter...)
Hit and miss as to how good a clean our villa got - first 4 days fantastic final 4 days hard to see what was done ( different cleaning staff obviously but should be consistent).
There was a huge group of kids from Saudi Arabia that ran roit and even with a complaint nothing was done- loads of people complained but the diff when they left was huge.

Over all great villas and a pleasant stay

We have been members of the Marriot Vacation Club since 1994 and this is the 11th different location we have stayed at. This is the perfect way for my wife and I ( and children + grandchildren) to travel although it was just my wife and I for this trip.
We have come to expect a certain level of friendliness, quality and comfort from their villas all over the world and the Village d'Ile de-France lived up to our high expectations. We stayed for 2 weeks and can't wait to return.
The layout of the property and variety of architectural schemes for the two story townhouses creates the feeling of a village. There are narrow lanes , green vistas , ponds with water fowl
and flowers everywhere. We enjoy being outside and took advantage of our patio with the outdoor table and chairs.
The villa was very large and the dining room/living room area was the largest we've ever seen in our Marriott stays.
Any staff member we had contact with , from the front desk to the concierge to housekeeping to the program staff to the store or bistro were very helpful and always in a timely fashion.
My wife and I tend to take advantage of kitchen facilities and that also gives us a chance to shop and eat the kind of foods that the people of the particular area do.
We shopped at a huge Auchan store a few miles from the Marriott. It was in the middle of the largest shopping center and very impersonal with almost no one seeming to be capable of answering our questions about where to find something.
We followed the suggestion of staff members the next morning and enjoyed a pleasant 10 minute walk into Bailly-Romainvillers. There was a small area that contained a butcher, a green grocer a small but very well stocked and reasonably priced grocery store named Carrefour and an amazing boulangerie (bakery). That became a daily trek to line up in the morning with local people and select baguettes or a brioche for breakfast and beautiful French pastries for later in the day. Everyone was very helpful and our lack of ability to speak French was never an impediment. We felt as if we were embracing their style of living , even if for a short time and not a day goes by since we've been home that we don't miss it.
The store at the Marriott can be a bit pricey but that is to be expected anywhere. We had an early trip planned one morning and were leaving before the boulangerie opened so I went to the store to get croissants. They were reasonably priced and by the aroma, had been freshly baked on property. We had one meal at the Bistro and I enjoyed a superb grilled duck breast.
The guests at the Marriott have a real international flavor and we met many of them.
We went to Paris for 3 days with just our carry on luggage and enjoyed the convenience of the shuttle to and from the train station.
The location was perfect for us as we rented a car for our entire trip and it was easy to take side trips to Versailles , Giverny, Provins , Verdun , Reims , Fontainebleau and Epernay.
We are looking forward to our next Marriott experience.

Room Tip: We walked around the property looking at villa locations to request for our next visit and while we...

I would like to initially say that apart from the below incident, this would be a 5-star review without hesitation.

When we arrived at the resort, it became clear that this is a step up from your usual resort. The general ambiance and feeling of the place gives it a nice tranquil feel, with an underlying quality to it.
Our family stayed in a 2 bed townhouse, with en-suite to master bed, spacious living room/diner and a very well equipped kitchen. What also struck us was the good level of general cleanliness.
Our initial villa had an issue, which the duty manager came out and inspected with a member of technical staff within the hour, and gave us an opportunity to move to another. We were assisted in moving villas by the duty manager herself. So far, very impressed.
However, on moving villas, I had left a jacket in the previous villa, and due to the good weather that day, did not miss it until the 2nd morning when it became a little cooler.
On enquiring at reception to see if it had been handed back by housekeeping, or if I could go back to the villa myself to retrieve it, I was informed that somebody else was in there, and I couldn't go in. Housekeeping had not seen it, and the staff seemed unwilling to speak to the new residents. I tried on a daily basis to see if anything had been found, but again was left with the feeling that it was lost elsewhere.
The only explanation I can deduce from this, is that either housekeeping or the new owners have acquired the jacket for themselves. I KNOW the jacket was left in there, but I am resigned to the fact that it has been taken.
This saddens me, as apart from this incident, I cannot find fault here. The staff are generally very friendly and helpful, special mentions go to the concierge and kids club staff who were exceptional.
The Marketplace (on site shop) is very well stocked, albeit quite pricey, but it's to be expected for a on-site store. (The Auchan hypermarket is only a 10 minute drive away for more reasonably priced items).
I explained my feelings to the desk on check out, but apart from taking my contact details in the unlikely event of finding my jacket, they did not appear concerned. It has left a sour taste in the mouth regarding our stay, and I would be wary of staying there again.

Thank you for visiting Marriott's Village d'Ile-de-France. While it is great to hear your family loved the resort, we apologize that your jacket was not located after your villa change. Our Customer Care team would be happy to check if the item has been turned in and can be contacted at Customer.Care@vacationclub.com or at 800-860-9384. Seven of us stayed in a two bedroom townhouse with a studio attached and had a great experience. The worst thing about this resort is the 4.50 Euro charge per person to ride to the train station at Disney. After the first day, a nice lady at the desk told us that a taxi would only be 19 Euros. Great savings compared to the 31.50 Euros the shuttle charge for seven people.

I had read on this forum that the best exchange rate for Euros was to go to the ATM machines in the little town of Bailly-Romainvillers, a ten minute walk from the Marriott. I can tell you that last week we went to an ATM outside of the small green bank across from the Crepe Restaurant and got 300 Euros that cost me $490.73. I don't know how you find out about the exchange rate prior to getting Euros, ;but this was very disappointing. Some friends traveling with us experienced the same thing using one of the Change houses in downtown Paris.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom with studio. it was very spacious; there were two bedrooms upstairs, a pull out couch in the living room. There was a decent kitchen. The attached studio had a large bedroom with a small kitchen and a big bathroom. There was a nice patio overlooking the green space that had a place to play ball, kick the soccer ball etc. Unfortunately, they didn't have any basketballs tho. There are a lot of ducks and geese. The pool was lovely. The kids' activities were well thought out. The staff were the best! Friendly helpful respectful. If you want to go to Disney, that's great but getting into Paris is okay once or twice, but its very expensive and takes at least one hour each way. You can catch the local bus at the entrance of the property, about 5 minutes walk to bus and then a 15 minute bus drive to the Disney metro stop. Then its 40 minutes into any primary Paris stops. i would not recommend this hotel if your intention is to get to Paris via transit, but its great for Disney and a lovely hotel. if you have a car, it might be okay to get to Paris easier. The villa was very spacious and the grounds are relaxing. The cleaning staff do not come in every day and we requested more cleaning and it wasn't really granted quickly.
