This is our second trip here. First time we took food with us this time we went half board.
Excellent for families as there is no noise and you and the kids can relax after a busy day at Disney Land. As this was our second trip we new there was no oven in the lodges so half board was a good price.
We found out that our half board was standard. For breakfast we got Croissants, orange juice, baguettes, apple purée pots, butter, jam, Nutella, tea, hot chocolate, sugar and a carton of milk. We thought this was excellent. You do have to collect it from the hut at the end of the road but this is a short walk. Croissants and baguettes were hot and fresh.
Now the evening meal voucher. The meal voucher can be used for lunch or dinner. We took the baguettes we got at breakfast for lunch as we took fillings for them. On the tickets they tell you were you can use them however what it doesn't tell you is that you can use them in any resteraunt and you just pay the difference. Face value is 23 euros per adult and 16 per child.
Davy crocket ranch is a must after a long day at the park as you can let the children out make a cup of tea and relax. You don't get kettles ect in the disney hotels and if the kids want to go out you would have to go out with them.
If you have an infant under 3 then beware as you do not get meal vouchers for them. I found that all you can eat buffets were best as they can have some without being charged extra.
We hired a roster from reception for €30 which you get back when you leave.
You will not have a disappointing holiday and is much cheaper. It takes about 5 min to get to disneyland and 10 min to get back just due to road layouts.
There is a McDonald hiding in the disney village. We found it this time but last time it cost us €48 for 2 adult and 2 kids meals from disneyland park.
On half board you get what's called a tea time treat between 3-7pm. This included a large juice and a cake/ muffin.
We will be going back as the accommodation was excellent and the beds were comfortable, we also had air conditioning. As we have been 2yrs in a row we may leave it a few before going again. The mickey cafe is a must in disney village as the characters come around all the tables and you can take pictures. Book well in advance as it can be busy. You and the kids will not be disappointed and you can pay the difference if you have half board vouchers.

Nice cabins in the forest. A really quiet place. Cabins are well thought and well equipped. We even had a small patio. We were 5 (3 children). It was the only Disney hotel allowing us to be 5, without booking 2 rooms. Disney is 5-10 min by car. I understood there was no shuttle going from this hotel. For the price we paid, I found this place really good;)

Excellent accommodation, billed as log cabins but really pimped static caravans. We had the premium upgrade with Aircon etc. Well worth it. Get half board if an option food prices are criminal on the parks 28euros for a Burger meal for one, 3.19euros for 500ml soft drink. We took Robinsons squashed squirty concentrate - water is available to fill bottles on the parks. Our evening meals on the park were at the various buffet restaurants circa 90euros a night without half board !
Make sure you plan time for the light / laser show projected on to the castle its late finishing around 0030hrs but well worth it! If travelling to the Ranch make sure you approach via the A4 or you will not find it, there are no signs - the Satnav code online takes you to the Administrative centre for Disney.

Nicest pool from all Disney's Hôtels, cabins in the forest with no other noise than the songs of birds it is almost perfect! of course end of the day pool is a bit crowded and children go wild but what would you expect!!
cabins are well equiped up to 6 persons to sleep in.. we were in a "old" cabin not a Premium still Worth it and not looking that old..clean and convenient. BBQ place just right on the side of the cabin with a wooden large table... dont forget to bring a table cloth it could be usefull! it is not A/Ced but the shade made from trees is perfect and it is not hot at night. Housekeeping comes once but do the job. Gift shop very well equiped with all the stuff yoiu may need and forget at home like BBQ charcoal, food and drinks, toothpaste or baby nappies... almost everything... You can even find a vending machine of swimsuit at the pool entrance (cash only) if you forget yours!!

Room Tip: Ask the gift shop for the "washing kit" it is free (sponge, liquid soap for dishes and 2 tablets for dishwasher). Also you can call HK for cleaning the BBQ place (convenient!!)

4 days in the ranch in a Premium lodge on the "Big Bear Trail".
I was really surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the cabin. It was spotless, nothing soiled or broken. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, decent kitchen and a 6 seater dining table. Double bed in one room and 3 singles in the other with a pull out bed making it a 4 bed room. Bear in mind that there is no space in the double room for a cot.
Outdoor space is nice if a little slippery on the decking next to the cabin
The pool is really nice, well designed with some nice features but could do with being a few degrees warmer ! Our 3 year old got the shivers !
Shop is well equipped but expect "Disney" pricing. The all you can eat buffet is very good with nice food and a very good choice.
Characters visit all the time so great for the kids. The small farm is a nice touch too.
I only have one small issue with the whole place which sounds a bit petty but, the tarmac around the front of the shop and bar/restaurant etc is so sharp. This is an area where kids run around, excited by the characters, playing football etc. My 7 year old took a tumble on it and it sliced through his knee and arm like glass. The small stones set in the tarmac and very sharp. So, just be careful with the kids running round. On a plus point you are never going to slip over !
