I was a little put off at first as it was occupied by 90% German and Austrian but there were no problems. Let's put all the positives first with a few niggles at the end.
I had a twin double which I shared with my wife. The room was well appointed and the wet room was excellent with almost instant hot water with a constant temperature. Balcony was good with a solid wall between the balconies either side for total privacy. Air conditioning was constant and adjustable. Rooms were looked after everyday with rooms cleaned perfectly and sheets changed daily. We stayed half board and the food was buffet style for both meals. The quality and choice was the best we've had in over 40 years of foreign travel. For example, 4 mains minimum of fish and meat. These included sirloin steak, tenderloin pork, smoked salmon, scorpion fish, and grilled perch as well as poultry and caviar. The menu changed daily. Previous comments about having an allocated table for dinner I feel are unjustified. I was not happy with the table we were given and it was changed immediately. Lots of sun-beds in the grounds -although you did get a lot of towel reservations it did not give a problem. Pool was under-used and there was an indoor pool with a small Jacuzzi adjacent to it. The beach was extensive and sandy.
Now the few niggles. A room safe cost us £18 for the fortnight. The sun beds and umbrellas shown in all the pictures of the hotel beach are run by a different company and cost 10 euros a day ( I would not pay that on principle). The outside pool was really cold. The evening entertainment was average for a hotel but pathetic when the animation team had their evening
each week. Certainly not suitable for people looking for a lively resort.Overall though if you want a sun, sea and sand hotel and you don't mind very few other British people there, this could be the hotel for you.
