First off the reception staff are amazing, especially Benjamin, big smiles and humor is always a good start, very helpful, informative and genuine. The hotel itself looks a little dated but the staff work tirelessly to keep it pristine, the entertainment so far is good as is the food, I will update this review as the week goes on.

Returned after a 14 night stay at alcudia park, yet again was not disappointed, this was our second year staying here and was an excellent holiday even with our party of 13 we were dealt the fantastic service again when checking in and throughout or stay were always on had. The management at this hotel are on patrol thought the day ensuring all areas are keep to the very high standard they expect which again excellent service. The animation team are without a doubt a credit to iberostar, they work from early morning until very late at night. Each one of the team are very friendly and the kids loved being part of the mini club, with us parents feeling they were safe at all times. Our maid was the best again, everyday our apartment was spotless and made up to a very high standard, some of the reviews say the rooms are tired, yeah maybe but they are clean and that's what matters as you spend very little time in them, we had the same room location again this year which was fab looking on to the side street with views of the play park and beach. The food, oh my this again was 5* after 2 weeks we were struggling to keep up and always a huge variety of choice, the kids experienced new food this year and loved the calamari. I can't wait to book up again for next year :)

Hotel is lovely, however the rooms, towels and tv need updating. There is not enough sunbeds for the amount of people at hotel by pool. It costs 10euro 65 for a sun lounger on beach. The food is lovely, very tasty. The Spa treatments are a must for all. Staff in the small inside bar are very good. Market at Can picafort on Friday morning is lovely. Theres not much to do but sunbathe unless you take a hour walk or a taxi to Alcudia.

Just returned from a week all inclusive stay here, we were really pleased with everything, super apartment clean, spacious, comfy beds, great view over the pool & beach, all the staff are very friendly & helpful. This was our first holiday abroad with our kids ( 4 & 6yrs ) and thoroughly enjoyed it the hotel offers everything you need for a super holiday beach location, fantastic food allday long, a huge variety especially at dinner.
The evening entertainment was great especially the kids mini disco. The whole hotel is clean, colourful, bright, lovely garden next to the pool & ,plenty of sunbeds.
The hotel is quite a long walk from Alcudia bay so would recommend taking the bus but definately worth a visit.
Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard and with some personal touches from the maid, the first time she lined up my kids toys and arranged their pjs nicely on the bed & left them one sweets which they loved!! We looked forward to seein this everyday!!
Would definately recommend this hotel and we would stay there again.

Room Tip: Definately sea view!!!!

Overall a brilliant stay at the Iberostar Alcudia Park. First holiday abroad with our 2 year old son and had a great family holiday. Hotel was fantastic right on the beach, good entertainment in the evening, our little one really enjoyed the mini disco and brilliant choice of food in the restaurant. One main negative was the freezing swimming pool, It could do with being heated in May (&early summer) so did not get chance to go swimming as much as we had hoped.

Overall we loved the place. The hotel is right on the beach, so if the pool is busy (or you just want to play in the sand) you just walk an extra 10 yards.

Rooms : The rooms are of reasonable size, with air conditioning and a safe (the safe costs something like 15 Euros for a week) as well as a fridge and twin hot plate (should you need it). They are serviced every day. There is one bedroom with twin beds for adults (other rooms may have doubles but ours didn't). The extra beds for the children are in the form of a pull-out bed in the lounge (which has legs on it so it turns into a normal bed - we didn't realise this until we came back and found one of the maids had done this for us. So the lounge turns into a bedroom. Not a major problem if the kids go to sleep as you can sit out on the balcony. All rooms have blackout blinds - so the kids don't wake at dawn !

Food : The restaurant is superb. There is a huge range of food available every day ranging from fresh seafood (Prawns, sea bream etc.) to more salads, fresh meats, vegetarian, loads of fruit, fresh cheese etc., . We ate here every day for a week and never got bored of the food. They also have beer, red, white and rose wine on tap for the all-inclusive guests along with still, chilled and fizzy water - although why they limit this to the all-inclusive guests only I don't know. All the food is freshly prepared - you'll not see food sitting for hours under heat lamps here !

The standards in the kitchens themselves are equally impressive. My 8 year old son wants to be a chef, so we asked (during lunch) if he could see the kitchens (half thinking they would say 'no' or ' come back later'). He was granted an immediate tour of all the kitchens and shown the chefs working. The kitchens were SPOTLESS !. Any establishment that accommodates snap 'inspections' like this is to be commended !!!

Other guests : When we were there, there were a lot of Germans as well; which is a good thing as you'll be surrounded by lots of polite people and well behaved children.

Seafront : The beach is superb for children, as it's really shallow (about 2 feet) for a long way out (about 50 metres) so they have a large safe area in which to play. There are also lifeguards patrolling the beach and they have life guard huts at regular intervals. So it's a very safe environment. The water sports that are there (banana boats rides, jet skis, parasailing, are well separated from the swimmers with channels and zones marked by buoys. The beach itself is incredibly clean; it's cleaned and 'pisted' every night - so you won't see any litter.

Entertainment : Every night the hotel puts on a mini-disco for the young kids which lasts about 45 minutes. Followed by more adult entertainment such as flamenco dancing, Abba tribute bands, acrobatics etc. All in all the acts are of a very high quality and worth watching. The one gotcha with the evening events is that they are quite loud. So if your room is near the stage next to the beach bar, and you want an early night (before 11pm) forget it; it will be too noisy.

Staff : All *very* helpful, multi-lingual (their English is excellent) and welcoming.

Gripes (and these are very *minor* gripes - akin to going on safari, seeing elephants and then complaining they didn't play football or perform tricks for you)

WiFi - Is available for one week at 20 Euros. Not a bad day rate - but for all inclusive guests it should be included.

The pool area, whilst large, is probably not big enough to accommodate all the guests in the hotel. It wasn't a problem when we were there - but at high season I can imagine it getting a bit crowded (but then the beach is only 20 yards away.

The restaurant can sometimes get very busy; at times seeming like a crowd scene from Ben Hur. You'll wonder if you'll even get a table - but the trick is not to wait until you see an available table, but to say hello to the staff and ask them for a table. They will then prepare one for you. In all you'll wait no more than a minute if you do this. So the system does work !

Room Tip: The rooms with a pool / beach view are nice - but exposed to the noise from the entertainment. If y...

this is a top 4* hotel that caters well for young families in term time and couples in non term time
its spotless and well furnished. right on the lovely beach and turquoise sea.sunbeds and parasol over 10 euros! have to pay out 20 euros refundable for towels! and 36 euros for the safe! of which 6 is refundable, so take extra cash. the food is 5*+ all freshly cooked. a lot of credit should go to the manageress , chefs and hardworking staff.
the weather was very disapointing for this tme of year, cold on an evening.the animation and first class entertainment should have been inside where there was plenty of facilities, take your fleece!

Room Tip: best room 3605 overlooks pool and sea
