Returned today from 2 week stay having visited same time last year. Food was great, plenty of choice for everyone, still able to find a quieter spot to eat outside or towards the back of restaurant. Catering team and waiting staff extremely friendly as ever in particular Martin who waited in the area we tended to sit in. Accommodation in block 5 again side sea view, extremely clean throughout the stay and does need a refurb but completely functional. Communal areas were kept very clean again and poolside toilets in particular very well cleaned. The pool area had a different system with the sun beds being available overnight, last year they were kept locked until morning. This did cause some issues for others keen on the pool area as the "towel on the bed" issue occurred daily with some guests placing towels on during the night. This didn't affect us because we prefer the gorgeous beach directly accessed from the hotel and when in the pool didn't really need a sun bed. The entertainment team were reduced in number from last year quite significantly and still provided an excellent service and as with all staff clearly work very hard. Our children, twins age 4 absolutely loved mini disco, enjoyed the park and attended kids club quite a bit because the staff were so kind and friendly. Our special thanks to them for helping make the childrens holiday so much fun- to Elizabeth, Freida, Pana, Holly, Robin, Alex, Hannah and in doing so giving us a really rare opportunity to relax, read or talk to one another uninterupted for a few hours!!! A real bonus. The hotel environment lends itself to enabling the family to relax and allows children some freedom of movement but because of the visibility possible in the outdoor layout as a parent you can still retain visibility of them at all times. The team do particularly well having to manage the expectations of guests and communicate when they come from so many countries. The variation of countries was more noticeable this year and cultural differences were interesting to observe. The entertainment was enjoyable and again the team work incredibly hard to please their guests at all times. The bar staff were great and in particular Toni who always has a beaming smile. It was pleasing to see so many familiar staff again and also familiar families on a return trip. The beach is stunning and ideal for children because it is so safe. We did a boat trip to Formentor which was worthwhile and also took a pedaloe out from the area along the beach to the right of the hotel. Did a trip in to Alcudia port and ate out at Bodega Des Portes - very nice. I personally wouldn't do this type of holiday pre-children as we were keen to do our own thing, be more off the beaten track and do more outdoors type activity but with a young family this is ideal. Not sure I would advise this particular hotel if you are a couple and want to avoid children. For us it was great- thanks again.

Room Tip: Pool View Block 5

Me and my family have just returned from here Sat 22nd June 13 what a holiday. We spent 14 lovely Nights all inclusive. The food here is outstanding there was something there for everyone I can't get over how much food they put out at every meal. Seeing the chefs cooking with all the gear on cooking everything fresh in front of you with big woks with all the flames was brilliant. I don't know how anyone can complain if they do then there is something seriously wrong with them because outstanding. The rooms could do with being updated but they have everything there that you need if you did go self catering but while we were there they are having new windows and doors put in the rooms which look a lot better but spotlessly clean. The cleaner is in everyday with clean towels etc. and bedding if u require it and making sure everything was clean. All of the drinks were named brands which was very good and the cocktails were lovely about 95% of all drinks is in with all inclusive. There is three pools a baby pool a deep pool and a shallower pool that the kids can take inflatables in as not allowed in the big pool which is better for the people that like to have a swim. The children's entertainment was great the kids loved it the staff got dressed up through the day and jumped into the pools with the kids a good laugh. All of the staff and I mean all of the staff were lovely they couldn't do enough for you and the life guard was lovely couldn't speak much English and my little one was terrified ha. The bar is located right on the beach which was nice to sit at lunch time or on the evening looking out onto that perfect beach. The beach was just perfect really lovely you could walk out for about 500/600 yards with the water not passing your waist and crystal clear which made me more relaxed with the kids as there was no drops or dips for them to fall into. The weather was hot. There is a hotel supermarket and shops on the other side of the road that sell all the same things nice walk. We also got the bus to the market which was a lovely walk round but mainly sell all the same things but nice but I'd get the bus early as you are packed in them like sardines not good and hot. Everything in the hotel is cleaned daily to even mopping all the floors outside and jet washing the floor tiles cleaning the pool daily just a lovely place to stay. I would recommend this hotel to everyone just a great family holiday.

Room Tip: I would ask for a higher room pool facing or sea view

I really can not understand all of the bad reviews with regards to this hotel, there is an excellent range of variety within the meals as a range of buffet themes were put on each night. Excellent choice for vegetarians and meat lovers. Kids section was a little samey with pasta but I could always get her something from the main buffet. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and the staff are excellent. The entertainment team work tirelessly to entertain the kids day and night. The reception staff were friendly and polite and were always happy to help.

This is a very busy family hotel so would probably not recommend for couples but there is something for everyone.

Fab location being central to alcudia and can picafort. I would recommend a visit to both.

Rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels were always provided. Maids were excellent and very friendly towards the children. Rooms are a little old fashioned but I think most Iberostar hotels are decorated the same old style way.

Would love to return again in the future.

The only downside was the two days of clouds!! :-) but you cant have everything.

Me and my son (17 years old) spent a lovely week at Iberostar Alcudia Park. Fantastic service allover from reception to cleaning staff. We had some trouble with our luggage and reception was really helpful.
Restaurant is also worth mentioning, food and service was all you could wish for.

Room Tip: It's was worth paying for pool-view

I recently stopped at the iberostar Alcudia park for a week all inclusive as part of a party of 41 people yes 41 ! It was a mix of both adults and children single people & families. To sum it up it was a brilliant week and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing family holiday. The rooms could do with updating but have everything you need to be comfotable & self catering if you prefer that , ie hob, fridge eating area balcony. The cleaners are in every single day with new towels tidying up everything ! We opted for the all inclusive option and its not often I can honestly say that the food in the hotel was of a far higher standard than the food we had when we ate out every night is a different theme but even the fussiest of people are spoilt for choice & there is a added bonus of a kids corner with the usual pasta & different sauces, proper chicken nuggets not the usual rubber rubish. The drinks are all the real deal coke, sprite orange & lemon fanta and you were also able to drink Smirnoff vodka or absolute vodka at "no extra cost" which was a nice suprise. The pool is split into 2 half's a deep side & a shallow side great for kids , but this is honestly the only time I can say I have spent the whole week on the beach while on holiday. The beach is simply fantastic one of the best beaches I've ever been on, the water is crystal clear and you can walk right out at least 4-500 yards with out the water ever passing your waist which is great for the kids. The hotels bar is located right on the beach which is great for maximising all that free drink & ice cream or slushes. The staff are all great and can't do enough for you especially "Raff" & "Benjamin" on reception. The location was good for us but we like to get out & about on walks. There are the usuall shops straight outside the
hotel selling the usuall tat or you can catch a taxi down to the harbour area for about 6 euros if you want more upmarket shops. We spent a whole day at the aqua park which is a little dated but still a great day out with all the usuall rides & loads of pools & wave pool this is about 45 mins walk from hotel or another 6euro taxi ride. The only down side is this is very much a "German hotel" so most of the entertainment is focused on them but don't let this put you off as its still ok and passes the night away & the kids still get involved. If you like Majorca then this hotel is well worth a look and I don't hesitate in recommending it to anyone & everyone that asks me where I've been this year neither dose any of the 40 other happy Geordie holiday makers that were there in June 2013.

We stayed a week all inclusive at the iberostar Alcudia park me my fiancé & our 4 yr old daughter we were part of a group of 41 yes 41 that stayed at the beginning of June 2013 the group was made up of families couples & single people. Where do I start ?
The hotel is nice & clean & the hotel the rooms are a good size although they could do with updating but they still have everything you need for a comfortable stay ie hob, fridge, sink, cutlery a eating area & balcony. The pool is a good size & is split into a deep pool & a shallow pool for the kids and is always clean ! I personally perfered the beach which is "FANTASTIC" it stretches for miles & is clean. The water is crystal clear & you can walk 4-500 yards into the sea without the water even going over your waist which is great for the kids. This is honestly the 1st time I can say we have spent the whole holiday on the beach it's that good. The hotels bar is located right on the beach which is great for maximising the free drinks ice cream & slushes. The next great point is the food which is of another class. It's not often you can say the the food in the hotel is better than you get when eating out on holiday but this certainly was the case at the iberostar alcudia park. There is a theme every night & even the fussiest eater is spoilt for choice here & there is the added bonus of a kids corner with the usual spaghetti & sauces , chips & proper chicken nuggets not the usual rubber rubbish. The drinks are also a big plus side as they are all the real deal like proper coke, diet coke, sprite , orange & lemon fanta or even slushes it's all there you can even drink branded spirits like Smirnoff & absolute vodka at "NO EXTRA" cost which is a suprise. The staff are also fantastic and can't do enough for you especially "Raff and Benjamin" on reception who are always on hand what ever your problem. There are the usuall shops straight outside the hotel selling the usuall tat. If you want a better type of shop your best heading down to the harbour which is about a hours walk from the hotel or a 6euro taxi ride. We spent a whole day at Aqualand which is also a little dated but has all the usuall slides & pools and is still worth a look and is about 45 minutes walk from hotel or 6euros in a taxi. I strongly advise you to try this hotel & not to hesitate in booking all you need to do is read the other reviews. I have no hesitation in telling anyone who asks and even those that dont ask how good this hotel is and that one day me and my family will be back at the Alcudia park one day and there are another 40 happy Geordie's that will also tell you the same !
