Raining outside so we stopped for Brunch. A log fire on and it was nice and warm inside, although rather bare. Outside tables would be nice in summer.
Tea came in a teapot with extra hot water so more than one cup for the price/ Coffee was good. Eggs Benedict with bacon were well priced with crispy bacon, properly runny eggs and tasty lemony hollandaise - without balsamic vinegar which has spoiled this meal for us in other cafes.
Prompt service although we must add that the place was not busy when we were there.
We noticed it is open limited hours but are not sure if that is seasonal.
Our second visit for tea and coffee - our first visit for food. We would be happy to eat here again.
Easy to find as it is beside the main road from Murchison to Nelson.
