Went to ballyclare/Belfast for business and was told about dunamoy cottages by a friend. We stayed there and conducted our business and decided to stay on as the cottages were fantastic...very clean ..and close to Belfast so we had a few nights out in Belfast and went to the causeway in Antrim as it was only 40 mins away..the owners were great, no dramas,,and were only too happy to sort us out with info and even dropped us into Belfast on Saturday night to save us waiting on a taxi...had a great weekend and will stay there again if I ever have to go to Belfast again...thanks Stacey and Jamie..

What a fantastic place to stay! An extremely warm welcome from the hosts, in particular Stacey who personally showed us round and ran through our welcome information. Great place for families (we have a three year old), impeccably clean, well appointed and modern cottage and really spacious. Internet facilities make it ideal for business and I am seriously considering holding business meetings here as it is so tranquil and relaxed. Stacey also showed us around the Spa she is developing which looks really good and if ready as planned in 2014 we will be visiting. The scenery is quite dramatic and the location is great for visiting Belfast but just far enough away to make it idyllic as a rural retreat. 10/10 and highly recommended.

Room Tip: We didn't see the other rooms but if ours was anything to go by they will be superb. We had a lo...

We recently used all of the Dunamoy Cottages as accommodation for us and some of our wedding guests to stay in as we got married near by. Stacey and her husband were both so friendly and welcoming and provided little extras that really made our stay. The cottages are all modern, well looked after and very clean. Excellent BBQ area outside and a spacious communal room to use too.
Would definitely recommend!!!

Stayed for a week in September as the cottages were ideally located for a family celebration. Close to Ballyclare and with easy access to Belfast and Ballymena they have the advantage of being quiet and remote while still having all the usual facilities nearby. Stacey provided a well stocked welcome basket and even lent us her tin opener when we couldn't work out how to use the one provided!! The cottages are very comfortable and well equipped and our son was impressed with the large flat screen TV. Internet access is available in the reception area. We had our two young dogs with us and they were allowed on site. The communal area of the cottages is a combination of tiles and wooden flooring so perfect for the animals. All in all a little oasis for spending a very relaxing week.

We couldn't have picked a more welcoming and beautiful place to stay. The cottage had everything we needed for a week and it was done to a really high standard, there was even a little welcome basket when we arrived. This came in really handy as we arrived quite late at night! It was really well placed for our needs and the views from the cottage were amazing. At the end of our stay we really didn't want to come home. Stacey and Jamie couldn't have made us more welcome at the cottages.

Stayed for 4 nights early August while attending my brother's wedding at nearby Breckenhill.
The cottages are lovely. Very well designed and they are extremely spacious!
Stacey gave us a warm welcome and the little basket provided (tea/coffee/bread, etc) was a fantastic touch.
It is so peaceful here, you don't even realise there are other guests! There is a communal area with wifi (signal is non-existent) and information about the surrounding area, also, board games. Connect 4 came in handy one very wet afternoon before the wedding! Our last 2 days were sunny enough to sit out in the little terrace (bbq) area, which was nice.
The only thing I would recommend is that you bring or hire a car. We were lucky to have family to collect us in their car but without that we would have been reliant on taxis as the road to the town is too dangerous to walk.
Would certainly return and will hire a car next time.
Highly recommend Dunamoy Cottages and thanks to the lovely friendly owners for an enjoyable stay!

We booked Dunamoy cottages on short notice as our original holiday plans had fallen thru. It was the best thing that could have happened. These cottages are beautifully fitted out making the most of the space available. So wonderfully quiet, we could have thought we were the only guests.(All the rooms were fully let) Stacey and Jamie and the girls are wonderful hosts, even inviting us to a local day at a nearby farm, where we enjoyed fly fishing, climbing walls, football and archery targets, live music and hot air ballooning. All within 5 Minutes of Dunamoy. They are building a spa at Dunamoy and we look forward to returning and enjoying more of the relaxing!
