Popped in for coffee and home baking over two days - once after a bracing walk and the other time after a cycle. Other than the coffee being very strong food was great. The biggest scones I've ever seen on the first day and an oatmeal and honey biscuit the second - all delicious. Only thing that does let the venue down is the staff - female on first day didn't say much but we fit her smiling before we left, male on second day didn't smile at all and had nothing to say. Such a pity as a great picturesque venue. Perhaps the staff feel isolated from the main hotel - why not rotate their time there - maybe they do! Would definitely visit again.
