We had dinner here on a quiet Friday evening. The smell when we came into the restaurant was fabulous and the food was equally as good. We watched the Chef gather herbs from the garden in front of the dining area and the meal not only tasted terrific it was great value for money.

We would recommend this restaurant very highly. Although we didn't stay at the hotel on this occasion we have in the past and found it to be very agreeable.

Arrived in glorious sunshine and sat outside on terrace (lovely garden furniture) with cold French beer - perfect start to our tour round Normandy! Excellent restaurant (check out the table!), room was large, simply furnished but very pleasant. Fabulous situation in grounds of chateau, chickens roaming, goats grazing - immediately switched off and relaxed.

We last visited this property some years ago and it was great to be back. What a beautiful setting. Lovely room, few drinks before dinner and then a very well cooked dinner, excellent wine list and good service. The restaurant was busy and at times only 2 waiting staff seemed a little short sighted, but it really wasn't a problem.
Hope to be soonest!

My wife and I have stayed now three times and I can only sing its praises. The Chateau was used as the headquarters of the Tank Corps in the first world war a particular interest of mine which brought me to the village while working on my book project, we now return as often as possible. The hotel rooms are on an individual apartment style with each one different in layout and décor. The restaurant is its crowning glory with rural French cuisine much of which is from the walled garden just outside dining room. The breakfasts are a particular favourite setting us up for a day of touring and visiting the local brocantes.
Sebastien, thank for all your hospitality see you again in August.

Great small hotel with a fab restaurant. You drive in to a small village and the main house is a Chateau. Sadly that is not the hotel but the owners house. The hotel has 3 parts, main courtyard area and rooms, a tree house and a cottage. We had two rooms above the restaurant that could be closed off to give totally security and hence perfect when with our 18 month old. The room had two giant baths that were superb and i would love to know where they sourced them from. Take care with the ceiling if your above 6ft2". The decor is functional and if you are picky then it felt a little ikea'ish but not a problem. Restaurant serves great farm style food and in reach of the baby phone so no need for baby sitters.
Overall great place for a night or two on route or returning from holiday.

Room Tip: Book a table in advance if you want dinner

We have stayed at La Cour de Remi twice now and on both occasions we were extremely pleased with everything. It is a small hotel with a just a few rooms but they are all spacious with plenty of character. We have stayed in two different rooms and on the most recent visit in room 1 which has a well! Our friends stayed in room 3 and the treehouse. All lovely. The grounds are also lovely and good for strolls with small children. Plenty of space and farm animals to see. We will definitely stay here again.

Firstly, if you are looking for night life, clubs and entertainment, this hotel is definitely not for you.
If you are looking for something that is in the middle of the countryside, where the sounds of the countryside are exactly that, this is for you. The thing that makes this countryside hotel unique is that it is unique,
The hotel is housed in the renovated outbuildings in the grounds of a château like hunting lodge.
The rooms are based around a quadrangle with the restaurant/kitchens along one side and the rooms over and across from there. There are also a "tree house" room and a house that has two rooms within it. All these are in the immaculate grounds of the Cour de Remi.
The owners, Sebastian and his wife, live in the "Château"with their three young children but seem to spend their waking hours working in the hotel.
We had two rooms to accommodate our party for our two night break, Room 1 and the Tree House. All rooms show original features and have a contemporary design in very old buildings. Room 1 has an old well in the floor (at least 20 metres deep and illuminated but thankfully toughened glass covered), two lovely armchairs, a TV unit with a library of books. A staircase leads to the next floor with a large double bed and a very large circular bath. Another short staircase leads to a floor with a vanity unit and an en suite toilet.
A really different room but all the fittings and fixtures were very good.
The Tree House is a hoot! There is a staircase that leads to a veranda in the tree. The room has all the amenities,, a double bed, en suite shower room and TV. You can also enjoy a great G & T on your balcony overlooking the grounds and Château.
All rooms have a Nespresso coffee machine and tea facilities but if you want more tea and milk, you must ask. There is also a mini bar in each room.
Our stay was very relaxing with a good mix of clientèle including some young children. It all worked very well in the space and quiet the hotel offers.
This establishment has an extremely good restaurant, but I will review this separately, however I will have to mention the breakfast. It is simply stunning.
Sebastian and his kitchen staff pride themselves on their local produce and preparation. Breakfast is no exception.
Fresh pressed orange juice, fresh baked brioche loaf, home made jams, home made bread/toast, home made yoghurt. Great coffee, a dry fresh sliced ham and cheese. All in all, a superb start to any day. It was great on the first morning and it was equally as good the second.
The hotel is well situated for visiting Arras, Vimy and the areas of the Western Front and is about an hour and a quarter from Calais.
I will visit again. The staff were great, the venue beautifully unique and so good to eat at.

Room Tip: Use the web site to choose the best for you. They are all good. The tree house steps are quite ste...
