Recommended length of visit: More than 3 hours
Owner description: The course penetrates the woods of the estate of the Castle, borrows the natural valleys and crosses the parts of water. On 60 hectares, its route respects the centenary trees, the undergrowth gorged with ferns and the immense massifs of rhododendrons.Created in 1990, it is the work of the American architect Robin Nelson and the French landscaper Thierry Huau who knew Preserve the natural beauty of the site. Note that the course has been modified and that the two new holes (12 and 13) were designed by the French architect Manuel Rossi.

“Accuracy rather than length”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

A gem of a course set in beautiful wooded parkland. Fairways and greens in excellent condition. You may want to keep the driver in the bag as many holes very tight and accuracy will be rewarded. As with many courses in France not too busy as slightly off the beaten track. Nice clubhouse for lunch and items requested not on the menu were accommodated without fuss. Not to be missed if golfing in the area.

“Stunning, varied, friendly but not easy!”
Reviewed 27 October 2013

A fantastic course that I have played every year for the last fifteen. Not the easiest with a high slope rating but even as an average golfer it is a fabulous walk. Mark Twain never got it so wrong! I have always played in September, early October and the course is deserted. Unlike many courses there are no two holes alike so you will never get bored. Lovely Clubhouse with the same staff who recognise you from year to year. You will not be disappointed. Here's to the next fifteen years!

“Good course , could be great.”
Reviewed 8 September 2013 via mobile

Lovely course ,in good condition, could be great without 2 blind unmarked holes. First 12 are great. But they need maps on the tees as per other local courses. The clubhouse serves great food and drinks. Good practice grounds and excellent for blind holes and a couple of holes with trees in the middle of the fairway meaning one has to go over the trees ,impossible for weaker golfers .
