“Generally lovely and (almost) luxurious”
Reviewed 4 August 2012

Stayed here for a week. It is a good place to stay in Rawai - the apartment is very spacious and well-furnished. There is a flat screen TV, DVD player, toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery etc. The pool is also lovely - pity I didn't use it every day.

Only a few shortcomings - apparently the cleaners only clean once every two days, although this was not a big issue for me. The Internet wifi connection, however, is rather patchy and slow and it was frustrating at times. Lastly, there was no proper duvet/comforter on the bed, only white linen for a blanket.

But these aren't particularly serious issues for me and so for what I was paying as a short term visitor it was worth it.

Dear Guest, thank you for your appreciated review.
Your comments helped us in improving our services and our facility.
Now we have increased our staff to be able to give a daily cleaning service on time and now duvet/comforter for the bed are available.
As for the internet, unfortunately, it all depends on the TOT local lines often not fully functional.
In order to solve or at least reduce this problem, we have installed a new and additional 9 MB connection with another Internet Service Provider.

Ideally located close to both Nai Harn beach and Kata beach, these small, independently run furnished apartments are simple the best value I have had from any hotel/accomodation anywhere in the world.

Clean, very well furnished and withgood, unobtrusive service, I am tempted not to write a review just to keep it a secret.

This is my 2nd stay here and I plan to go back for every visit to Phuket.

It has a great location. I trained at Sinbi Muay Thai which is literally around the corner from the villa. It is a quick moped ride to Rawai Beach, to Naiharn Beach, to Phromthep. Local shops and eatery establishments of Naiharn are minutes away.

I have stayed in both a 2 bedroom villa and a 1 bedroom garden villa. Both are lovely little home away from homes :)
Comfy beds, good facilities, everything you could need.
The gardens are well kept and lovely.

Giorgio the owner and Alberto the maintenance guy are a helpful and courteous men who are there if you need them and not if you don't.

Minor downsides: the pool area has no shelter from the sun. Needs more shade via umbrellas. There are only 2 umbrellas. The poolside chairs need mats/cushions as the plastic can be a little uncomfortable over long periods.
Also the rooms were not cleaned daily. We stayed for a month and found the rooms to only be cleaned on average twice per week.
In the one bedroom garden apartment the cushions on the sofa were a bit yukky and the sofa itself could have done with a good clean. I'm pretty sure I was getting bites from mites of some kind living in that sofa so I sprayed it with insect repellent and it stopped. It just needs a good vacuuming or fabric steam clean.

Even with these minor complaints it is still my favourite place to stay in Naiharn and I will be back.

Highly recommend

First of all, let me begin by describing the ideal tourist for whom these Villas are most suitable.
-The ones with a limited budget
-Families and couples looking for spacious suites
-The ones who are very specific about cleanliness
-The ones who can do without the densely populated areas such as Patong
-The ones who are looking forward to minimize usage of taxis but rent scooter bikes (and hence be able to visit entire of Phuket on their own)
-The ones who require a very nice clean pool

These are the most basic requirements if on your agenda, this is Definitely the choice for you. If you are planning to stay in Phuket for a longer time (a month or more), i seriously dont see a reason why you would ever reject this. They had amazing deals for such people.

We came here in July and the rooms were very cheap in the low season, I recall 1500 baht per night. This is the basic attraction which fully compromises on the distance of the Villas from airport and Patong areas. Anyone who has been in Patong knows how expensive, noisy and polluted it is. This is the Thailand I loved the most, peaceful, clean, lush and filled with locals.

If you read about the amenities from its official site you will know that it has dvd players, air conditioners, VERY USEFUL KITCHEN (a blessing in Thailand). Furthermore, it is extremely near Seven 11 mart and you can easily buy all your groceries from there. Walking distance basically.

The beach is not on walking distance, it would require a scooter bike, but its the most peaceful, beautiful and relaxing beach in Phuket with very less people. It also has the most scenic sunsets.

The owner of these Villas is a gentleman, who fluently speaks English and we are very grateful for him being as hospitable as he was. I recall him being European.

There are some very chic local bars and restaurants footsteps away, with Plasma TVs, Billiard tables, bike rentals, fuel refill station and so on. Being a Muslim family we didn't visit these, but we do know the tourists love them. Most of them had been staying here for months (better deals).

The tourists in this area are the more sophisticated ones, who are on courses, or relaxing and stay away from the touristsy over populated areas. I saw several elderly people, riding bicycles, reading books, walking to the Seven 11 mart, and doing all sorts of cool stuff. So this is mainly for such kind of tourists.

We had been to Bangkok so we saw all the night-life we wanted to see. In Phuket we want to relax, be away from the city and we got it. It's perfect for couples who are not into the hype, because if you are, you will be disappointed.

The Villas are obviously new, and its amazing how you get a complete villa at your disposal and not just a room. Again, the economical price is the reason why it is such a hit. It doesn't offer you luxury, it offers you clean basic necessities and actually more than one could ask for.

So if you are either into populated areas, or fancy luxurious stuff, don't expect that here, because the purpose of these Villas is not to facilitate such tourists. I also met an Australian guy here who told me he has joined a Thai boxing course (very near to the Villas) and is hence staying there.

I think it is pleasantly active in the peak season with lots of life, but in the low season, it was a charm to recognize.

The only negatives i can think of are its location (its TOOO far away from the airport but quite near the sea port if you plan to go to other islands)
The fact that it doesn't offer the city's bustling night life, which may disappoint some tourists
The fact that it is not right next to the beach and you need scooter bikes to go anywhere other than nearby mart and restaurants and bars (which are a REAL treat).
It gets kinda noisy at night due to the nearby bars and their loud music, that is if you are a light sleeper.

That's about it. Thank you to the owner who gave us such a wonderful time.
P.S: Dont hire bikes from them, They are too heavy and my mom kinda fell down trying them the first time. Most owners are nosy about 'paying for the damages' even when there are virtually non. The owner had this partner who behaved the same way.

Overall, this was the best stay on our Thailand trip, and we are so thankful to the owner! :)

Room Tip: Choose a villa as distant as you can get from the entrance and preferably towards the right. They ar...

Me and my other stayed here for 2 months (March&April 2011). Let me tell you , this place was perfect ! Let me list how :
The place is new. Only 10 months(?) old.
Elegantly laid out around a beautiful (and CLEAN) pool.
The rooms are well laid out , spacious and all have high end furnishings. Lord knows how the Thais/Farangs love to skimp on the furniture and furnishings. Not here. Lovely solid dark furniture , big flat screen TVs , DVD players etc.
Staff cleans the place and changes the linen/towels EVERY DAY. Those of us who've been to Thailand many times know that unless you're in a high end (3000bht+) hotel , they wont do that. Twice a week is the norm but not here.
Bathrooms are beautiful and spacious (a must for me !) and non of that cheap , plastic little water heater stuff. These ones are nicely done European style.
All the surrounding property is beautifully kept and maintained.
Most importantly , the two owners are very hands on in there property and take any requests/complaints seriously...i mean it !
Want a bigger TV , done. Cant find your shoes , found. Need some coals for the bar-b-cue , here.
Thats a very under-rated quality for a hotel to have.....that instant owner access , an owner(s) who gives a damn.
All that and they even gave me a discount for staying long !

Theres some nice restaraunts down the road. Try "Something Different". A french guy owns it and they'll deliver it to you , if u want.

only minus is the 2-3 bars right across but try finding a place in Phuket where there arent.

Room Tip: Talk to the owner , live.
