Hotel was convenient to the M5 and easy to find; room was made up for family (with cot) as requested, which made a late arrival much easier.
The room was incredibly warm (not much that could be done given the recent weather and no a/c) but it did make for an uncomfortable night (albeit with a fan provided).
Breakfast was a little chaotic (this may be due to my 2 children!) but staff did a good job of re-stocking regularly.

Stayed here mid June on way back to North West from Dorset.
The hotel was clean and comfortable and was next to a restaurant, so being convenient for dinner. However, the choice of food at breakfast was sadly lacking in variety. My expectations were probably too high, as I am reminded that it is an 'Express' hotel, more geared to a quick departure, rather than a leisurely meal.
I feel I must mention the staff on the front desk and bar who went over and above expectations to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Booked by employer for Daysleeping following night shift.
Breakfast was much better than previous visits to Holiday Inn Express locations. Includes buffet of Bacon, Cumberland Sausages, Baked beans, Scrambled Eggs, Bread white / brown for toasting with selection of toppings.
Free coffee / tea machine in dining area, making all forms of coffee, tea, chocolate :)
Room was nice, we had a double. Comfortable beds, free wifi, fan provided due to humidity outside. Bathroom and shower really nice also.

We were travelling down to Cornwall and decided to beak our journey around Gloucester. We booked in at the Holiday Inn express just off the M5 near Gloucester. We were on a budget and were surprised at the quality of the hotel including room. Included in the price of £45 was a free breakfast which included hot as well as cold food served as buffet service. That evening we went to the pub next door and had a very nice meal at a reasonable price. Will definitely book this hotel on our next visit to Cornwall

Nice and convenient hotel located with very easy access to the motorway.
It's simple with no frills but that's it's purpose. Recommended if you just need somewhere to sleep!
Little pub across the car park - didn't go there but looks nice from the outside.
Only down side is the signage is... Well there isn't any! It's tucked behind some office units so keep your eyes peeled
