This was the first travel inn we stayed at during our weekend away and I must say it was the best. It was easy enough to find and parking was free. If you wanted to go into the town it was a 10-15 minute drive or you could take a shuttle bus / park n ride from the carpark down the road. The receptionist on arrival was lovely we were early but she still managed to sort a room for us. Wish I had taken her name. The room was on the first floor and very clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was again spacious and the door actually swung back so you could close it just in the toilet area to have that separate from the shower which would have been good if someone needed to use it whilst another person was in the shower. Breakfast was very busy but we managed to get a seat and table. There was a large selection of cereal, breads, croissants, jams, fruit, teas, coffee etc. The cooked breakfast consisted of sausage, bacon that looked a bit anaemic , scrabbled eggs and beans. It was basic but it filled you up for the day ahead. Check out was quick and easy. If you get a chance the little pub next to the hotel was lovely for an evening meal and not too expensive either.
The only negative would be that the air conditioning was either non existent or just didn't work. The room was very warm the whole time. The Windows had a restriction on them so couldn't be opened any further and we had to leave them open all night despite the noise of the traffic. I must say though once the windows were closed and the double glazing you couldn't hear the traffic at all, just the fact it was too hot it wasn't possible to close them.
