“A big let down”

Really sorry we picked to book privately and not through campsite. It was for 2 adults and 3 kids. On arrival the lodge was covered in cob webs. Front door was sticking. The Tv is run on a way we had never came across before and no instructions on how it works. After the third day was unable to watch Tv. Was told it was our fault for not knowing how it works. The lodge was decorated very nice with items to purchase if you liked ? The bathroom door is hard to close with no locks but after a couple of try's it closes. But after a couple of days kept noticing ants on kitchen table tops and a sewage smell in bathroom especially when you showered Really a big let down as the area is lovely and campsite is excellent with loads for kids to do. Would recommend booking through campsite as passes is all included with them we had to buy passes separate.

A review has already been returned of the client. Unfortunately none of the comments were substantiated by the client as they did not stay on site as requested to physically indicate the problems and left hastily. No reports were made to reception as requested. The keys were not returned as stated in the booking the lodge being left open to theft and passes ARE as stated a separate cost to be incurred on Trip Adviser. It is recommended clients read instructions before booking. The accommodation is as stated a Norwegian Lodge as you would fine in Norway with all original fixings and accessories.

“Fantastic little cottage!”
Reviewed 23 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

IvyGlen is a little gem of a cabin hidden in Hoburne Cotswold. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 kids. A very well maintained cabin with good set of utensils and other stuff to get you through your stay. The two kids loved the toys and books that were available in plenty. Also there are quite a few board games which we only saw a few hours before we checked out.

It is a shame that we didn't get a chance to spend more time here. Overall a lovely place to spend some quality time at Cotswold. Would definitely recommend.
