We love Hope Cottage, especially the beautiful outdoor garden area! The cottage was perfect and had everything we needed-we could not have asked for more! From the coziness, to well equipped kitchen, the log burner and more. The best part was being so close to the Longborough Cafe. We met so many of the local people whilst there. The walks on the footpath and daily bicycling was just perfect. What a special way to spend our 30th wedding anniversary. We were there end of September, first of October and the weather was great. Amazing fall colors everywhere. Thank you for sharing this lovely piece of English heaven with us.

“Weekend break ”
Reviewed 10 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Decided to visit friends who run the coach and horses pub in Longbourgh booked this cottage at the last minuet and arrived around 7pm all lights and heating were on ready for us and WOW what a beautiful cottage so cosy and warm felt at home straight away beds were very comfy and lots of wood for wood burner could do with some heating in conservatory as it was freezing so didn't use and our bedroom radiator wouldn't turn off no dial on it and as we don't usually sleep with ours on but couldn't turn it off but that's all we will defiantly use this cottage again

Being able to pretend I lived in a cottage like this for the weekend was perfect. Beautiful location, gorgeous cottage full of character with great friends/family. Such a lovely weekend. The cottage was spotless when we arrived with everything you need for a weekend away. We ordered shopping to be delivered and our stay started stress free. That's how it stayed. The decor was modern but rustic and fit with the feel of the countryside. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Large outdoor area with a BBQ and a table positioned under a hanging trellis. The cottage stayed warm all throughout the day and into the night. Dishwasher! You're missing out if you don't book yourself a getaway in this cute and quaint cottage. I'll be back again!

What a great home - so cosy and supplied with everything you could need. amazing comfy beds to boot. the location is great with a local village shop basically on the door step and a local pub and that's it - you need to drive or walk to other towns for more but the tranquility is great and the local walks very enjoyable. Couldn't recommend it more - can't wait to go back! Only thing I would flag: as this is an older building the stairs are a bit steep and could be difficult for some with less mobility.

Hope cottage was everything we wanted for a weekend away with friends. Very well presented and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Was very nice to be left a few provisions to get us stared, and although we took dishwasher tablets etc we really didn't need too , as it was well provided. Lovely to have a rental cottage that felt like home, the furnishings are well kept and of a very high standard, the wood burner was also a big hit.The village itself very pretty and the local pub just 50 yards up the road, made us very welcome , beer and food very good especially Sunday lunch.
