Pillow case where grey the pub was filty dirty and needed a good clean through out not worth £10 a night least of all £60.00 did not want to stay but had to as we where going on to another district further down towards wales. The attic room was dangerous if you are not good on your legs dont go there, it was a dangerous hike getting up the steep stairs, nearly fell down twice. There was a young girl left to look after us she needed to look after herself first.
The accomadation under us must have been where she stayed. the bathroom had dirty clothes on the floor for the duration of our stay. the bin was full to the brim in the kitchen, this never got emptied. The owner and his son where really nice. shame really they need to smarten the place up and buy some better pillows / cases and bedding. We where glad to leave the place. Breakfast was not a pleaseant experience either running uncooked egg, where given a slice of toast each and a choice of small box kelloges variety cererals, not even asked if we would like white or brown bread just given what she taught was right. Would not stay here again.Only thing was it was near to most places of interest.

We had a two night break at this charming inn. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The inn itself is very traditional and attractive inside and out. Our room was small but cosy with a modern en-suite and we had everything we needed. We had Sunday lunch which was excellent and an evening meal the following day, which was also very good. The home-made apple crumble is superb!
Breakfast was a traditional full English and it certainly set us up for the day!
The inn is in a pleasant village, handy for visiting many of the Cotswold attractions.
We would certainly return and also recommend it to others.

This is a great place to stay. A lovely old Cotswolds pub. My room was bright and clean with a nice little ensuite and overlooking the garden. The staff were friendly and kind. Parking available out on the street. Breakfast was really nice. The location was very good and close to some beautiful areas of the Cotswolds. Also well priced for this area. I would stay again and recommend it highly.

Room Tip: Any room would be fine.

We booked using KGB voucher based on the reviews on here.
We must have turned up at a different pub.
The young man who greeted us was very polite and showed us to our room which was very small but ok.
Closer inspection it wasn't as clean as we hoped.
Breakfast was excellent and tasty but we felt we was intruding.
Nobody cleaned the room or replaced cups etc.
old toiletries in the room from past customers I guess.
To access the room you have to walk through the owners living accommodation but seeing dirty clothes lying about and the smell of dogs was really quite bad.

It could be so much more, it's situated in a stunning location, the village shop was lovely and it's ideally situated to explore the Cotswolds.
Cleanliness is surely the easiest thing to get right and as such has been marked poorly.

We enjoyed a two day break at the Coach & Horses Inn. We were welcomed by Anna who was extremely helpful. For such a young Landlady we were pleasantly surprised by her great attitude & willingness to please and advise.
The room was very comfortable & beautifully clean & the B & B was in a delightful area & close to many of the Cotswold Villages.
Anna has some bar staff help sometimes but mostly she runs the whole place on her own.
Good choice of food.
Only one drawback is, if you have walking difficulties or disability, getting up the stairs can prove very difficult so you would need to consider this when booking.
Would happily return.

I spent two nights at this inn the bedroom was very clean small but adequate as I was on my own the on suite was really small & the stairs very steep only had one evening meal in the resteraunt Thai fish cakes & chips awfull! Although the breakfast was nice cooked fresh as you ordered it good quality bacon, the lock on bedroom 4 kept slipping & you had to leave your room via the fire exit would be dangerous if the staircase was wet, the staff were obliging good place to visit the nearby villages lovely area .
