We visited with our two under 4 yr olds for one of their birthday’s.
Spent an hour hoovering up two hoover loads of dog hair and dirt on arrival. Dirt, dust and mould were evident in most areas of the accommodation.
Owner apologised for lack of cleaning by caravan park staff, but showed little real concern for the inconvenience caused by this and has ignored a further email.
At the end of the day it the owners responsibility to ensure that the accommodation is as described in the advert....
We wanted somewhere in the Bournemouth area to introduce our golden Labrador to the beaches and my favourite place, Hengistbury Head. I was born and grew up in Bournemouth so none of the attractions were new to me but to anyone visiting the area for the first time the caravan was ideally situated for he beach at Mudeford long walks along the prom and cliffs at Highcliffe, Stanpit marshes, Chritstchurch Quay and priory, these are all within easy reach. Unfortunately our holiday co-incided with the 'beast from the east' howling blizzards and 4 inches of snow. This didn't stop us from getting out and about and we were able to return to a toasty warm caravan.
This has to be one of the best caravans i have ever stayed in, and i have stayed in quite a few. Gareth is extremely pleasant to deal with and very quick to answer any questions etc. The caravan itself is immaculate with everything, and more, that you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The added bonus for me was that Gareth allowed my little dog, Annie, to holiday as well. There is only myself and Annie and i felt totally at ease and very safe here. The caravan is in an excellent position, only being about a 30 second walk to the promenade. I am definitely going to book again for this year with Gareth (hoping he has availability). All i can say, is if you are thinking please do. You will not be disappointed at all. Thank you Gareth for everything. Susan, and, of course, Annie
A very neat and well equipped static holiday home just seconds from the sea.
Someone has been smoking there which we could tell immediately we arrived and opened the door. This was confirmed when we saw a beaker of roll up or cigarette ends by the stairs. However it was very mild but may have been the cause of our itchy noses.
