I am so glad we picked this guest house to stay.
Sue and Roger were very welcoming and friendly. It was very comfortable and very clean.
Breakfast was fantastic! A great choice of food and cooked just how you liked it!
We will definitely go back.
What was very interesting for us was the room we stayed in, my partner's brother-in-law was born there!
What a small world

I am so happy that we got to stay at Oakfield Guest House. Sue and Roger are so nice and we felt right at home. Their home is pretty, comfortable and clean. My husband and I had the bedroom upstairs at the front of the house and had a beautiful view of the sun going down and the moon rising over the beautiful hills. The bed was very comfortable and long enough for my husband who is 6ft 4inches. The bathroom was clean and shower pressure great. Breakfast was wonderful. Great job Sue and Roger. I hope to stay at your home again.

Room Tip: The upstairs room at the far end of the house.

Owners were very welcoming and pleasant. Since we were walking the Cotswold Way and the path is quite far away, Roger picked us up in Birdlip and transported us back again the following day. We ended up doing a picnic for our supper as dinner restaurant choices are few. Room was clean and comfortable. We also walked to the ruins of a Roman Villa nearby.

Stayed during cheltenham festival, Roger and Sue were great hosts, very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable with very nice view of the hills. Breakfast was cooked well with lots on offer and extra toast which went down well! The area is quiet with a carvery across the road and pub / resteraunt up the road. However there is also a bus stop just outside which takes you into town easily, which has lots more to offer in terms of shops/ eating out/ bars etc. Would recommend

We stayed 1 night at their B&B during our walk on the Cotswold Way. Sue & Roger are great hosts: Roger picked us up and dropped us off at the trail in nearby Birdlip, told some entertaining stories about the area including Cooper's Hill and the cheese rolling event, gave us suggestions for dinner, and Sue kindly did our laundry for a small fee. The room was good, clean, comfortable and with good wifi. It was not a large room but there was enough space, with a small ensuite bathroom with a shower (a bit small). Breakfast was the typical full English breakfast with cold cereal, eggs, sausages (yum!), fried tomatoes and mushrooms, all the toast you could eat plus fresh fruit, juice and tea or coffee...more than enough to keep us going on our walk.

Sue and Roger gave us the best welcome possible. Their tales and advice about the area were priceless. The five of us slept like babies and were offered each morning the best English Breaksfast. Nowhere can the Cheese Rolling be better apreciated. It felt like home and we are French!!!

Sue and Roger's B&B is pretty much the way a B&B should be. Small, clean, unobtrusive, competitively priced and with a great cooked breakfast. Rooms are en suite with TV, tea/coffee facilities, toiletries and free fast wifi. It's in a quiet district on the outskirts of Gloucester, equally handy for Cheltenham.

Breakfast is cooked to order and accompanied, as is your preference, by toast, cereal and tea or coffee. It is served in the pleasant downstairs breakfast room.

Occasionally, you get a nice B&B spoiled a little by the owners being a bit odd and enforce a weird set on requirements of their guests. No such problem here. Sue and Roger are straight down the line easy going normal people who will make you feel welcome.
