Arrived early evening and greeted by Megan on the reception. Excellent customer service from the start. Explaining that I was staying overnight ahead of my wedding day and meeting with my sons who were also staying. Megan ensured that on arrival they were aware of where we could meet up.
Room typical of the good value clean well presented accommodation of the chain.
Decent restaurant across the way.

Avoid the restaurant - it has the atmosphere and service of a school dining hall. Waitress takes wrong order, but clearly didn’t want to reorder because kitchen was now closed. Manager was fussy chap at the beginning, but could be seen when there was a problem or leaving? Locals in the bar were foul mouthed therefore, not suitable for families. One local was more interested in pressing the barmaid to go for a kebab.

I stayed for 3 nights. The staff in both the hotel and restaurant are all very friendly. Yes the hotel is a little older and the decor needs a bit of an update, but the rooms and all areas were spotlessly clean and the bed was comfy. The area where the hotel is situated is nice and quiet but also very close (5 minute drive) to the motorway and main roads, so it's the best of both worlds. The car park is safe and secure.
The restaurant next door served hot and tasty food but is very under staffed and despite this the service was excellent. Monday mornings breakfast only had one member of staff doing everything front of house so items were not replenished very quickly but that is to be expected when the poor girl was run ragged! PLEASE invest in some new toasters though as it takes forever to get toast that is barely beige :-)

Everything very good - comfortable, clean, warm etc.
Reception staff were so welcoming & helpful especially Jenny Tea who went above & beyond! We also witnessed her handle a potentially tricky situation in the reception area (with another guest who wasn’t known to us) with great calmness.
Would recommend this particular Premier Inn.

Excellent service throughout, very helpful and happy to help, the beefeater restaurant is great , Kate serves efficiently and politely, overall a great experience. Easy to get to all attractions in the area, traffic is pretty light, although I think it will be busy in summer Months
