“Country pub with disabled access”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

My parents are both disabled and this is their favourite pub for meals out. There is a ramp, the staff are extremely helpful and the food changes with the seasons. We have been many times and love the cooking and the ambience. Dogs are allowed.

“Great pub grub and host”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

My wife and myself were staying locally in our motorhome for a long weekend at Lemington Lakes. We had our bikes with us so on the Friday early afternoon we cycled to the village of Todenham for a drink(s) at the 'Farrier's Arms' as it had been recommended to us by other campers. The owners Louise and Nigel were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The menu looked good so we booked a table for the Saturday evening. We set off on our trusty bikes again and had a lovely meal. We both opted for the freshly cooked steak & ale pie and it was delicious; one of the best we have ever had. It was very quiet in the pub with only a few customers and we feel that this is a hidden gem of a traditional English country pub that is underused by locals and visitors alike. We will be back again. Keep up the good work Louise & Nigel.

“Unfriendly”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

We were visiting friends in this lovely village and thought we'd try the pub for food. We started with drinks and then I went to the empty bar to ask about food. I politely stood opposite the lady serving, who appeared to be the landlady, and waited whilst she slowly texted on her phone. I was completely ignored for over a minute until I walked away, bemused and amused. I discussed this with my company and we left to eat elsewhere. I understand why there were so few customers in the pub on a Friday night if this is her usual attitude and we will not be visiting again, although we do love the area.

“Excellent Pub Food in the North Cotswolds”
Reviewed 21 April 2014

We have visited this pub a number of times on day trips to the Cotswolds, convenient as it is for Stratford, Stow on the Wold and particularly Moreton in Marsh. The food has always been excellent, with a good selection of options and excellent quality. The pub also stocks local beers and guest ales. Atmosphere is great, particularly in the winter with the log burner going. Only criticism of an otherwise excellent visit today was that they were short staffed and we had to wait a while for our food. Don't let this put you off - go and give the Farriers Arms a try.

“Lovely country pub”
Reviewed 31 January 2014

Had a meal and drinks as we passed through whilst picking up some alloy wheels!
The pub is a proper country pub....with pub grub and ales and a fire.
The service was good the game pie lovely and the gammon steak was good. The few locals in at that time were friendly and chatted to us. Makes a change when compared to other places.
Thank you for a lovely meal and the friendliness
If im back in the area will return....
