Our 2nd visit to this wonderful B & B.
The rooms are just lovely - The breakfast just perfect and really sets you up for the day.
We made good use of the lounge thanks for the sherry Wendy. Wendy has an exceptional eye for detail and nothing too much trouble.
A really safe car park for the cars - especially the convertable.

This was our first stop on our near month long drive around the UK. Great choice! The Old School is an architectural delight with a wonderful lounge up and breakfast area down. Our room was perfect for us and Wendy ensured that we had our two day schedule full and our dinner scheduled (the Red Lion Inn is wonderful). Don't stay anywhere else in the Cotswolds.

My husband and I have just spent 3 nights at the Old School House (OSH). I'm nearly 8 months pregnant and we wanted a relaxing break away from London. The OSH was perfect:
1) beautiful rooms - big, spacious, clean
2) brilliant host - Wendy, who can't do too much for guests. She's like a surrogate Mum
3) fab location - we did have a car but you can walk to places from the b&b itself
4) yum breakfasts - again, I asked for pancakes (not on the menu) and this was not a problem
5) all the extra touches e.g. afternoon tea (best lemon drizzle cake ever), choc eclairs in rooms, laundry facilities etc.

We would highly recommend the OSH and will definitely be returning at some point soon! Thank you Wendy.

After reading other good reviews on tripadvisor, I plumped for this B&B for a 2 night stay in this lovely part of the Cotswolds.
This really was a B&B of the highest standard - from the bed linen to the plush interior.
Wendy was extremely helpful with many tips and recommendations to get the most from our visit - many guidebooks on hand, reservations for dinner at local pubs.
Beautiful setting and just a fantastic stay.
Highly recommended.

My fiance and I went to stay at the Old School B&B for some rest and escape from our hectic lives (and wedding plans!). We had a really wonderful weekend, and were impressed with just how fit for purpose this B&B was. Wendy was an excellent and entertaining hostess, who planned our stay with military precision, whilst still making us feel completely relaxed. We were lucky with the weather, and managed to get some good walks in, but the B&B is also the perfect place to stay all cosy and warm had it been rainy and miserable outside. I should also mention that the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately we only had 2 nights, but we will definitely return. Thanks so much Wendy - hope to see you again after all the wedding craziness is out the way!

We stayed last weekend in a party of eight with good friends and what a fantastic time we had !
The beautifully restored school and gardens are charming as are John and Wendy and their team of helpers and we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome.
We adored the home made cakes and delicious breakfasts that kept us fuelled for the rest of the day made with the freshest local produce including eggs from the pet hens that live in the garden!!! We all agreed that the delicious four course meal that Wendy lovingly prepared for us was one of the best we have ever eaten. We could not think of anything else we could have wished for and after being home for just one day I am already arranging my next stay and the chance to share this little gem with more friends !!!
Thank you John And Wendy for your hospitality and making our stay so perfect we all came away completely relaxed and feel we have made new friends in you guys ............. can't wait to return !!!!

A picaresque old school house that has been lovingly converted into a luxurious B & B. Hosts Wendy and John are warm and welcoming people, who see to your every need. Wonderful breakfasts with fresh eggs, direct from the garden and afternoon tea with cake to top it off. A perfect place to explore the charming Cotswolds. Would thoroughly recommend The Old School.

Room Tip: We had Dormer in the front with a view of the Monkey Puzzle tree. Charming and very quiet.
