“Lovely Peaceful Finca”

Spent a lovely week at villa Vertent. A very peaceful location midway between Alcudia and Pollensa. Your nearest neighbour is around 300 yards away. A car is a must though.
Juan (our host) had left some food and wine which was very welcome after our journey. The villa will sleep 7 and is very reasonably priced for its size. Wifi is on tap and each bedroom has its own ensuite (two upstairs and one downstairs). The master bedroom has some lovely views towards the mountains at the back of Alcudia. The living room has satallite tv and ample seating. Doors from the living room open on to an outdoor seating area which is great for catching the early morning sun whilst eating breakfast. The pool area and gardens get the sun all day!
The kitchen is adequately stocked with a fridge, freezer, cooker and dishwasher (the crockery is found in a large unit in the living room). Off the kitchen is a utility room with the ironing board and washing machine, and a separate lining room has spare bedding and beach towels (which came in handy as we had forget ours).
Lidls in Alcudia and Pollensa are only a short drive away.
Ok there were only the two of us, but heck why have an apartment or a room in a hotel when you can have a whole villa to yourselves for only a little more money.
We will be going back again and again.

“Our second lovely visit to this delightful villa”

My wife and I plus our 20 year old twins have just returned from our second stay at this villa. This time we stayed for 10 days to make even better use of the pool and give ourselves chance to see more of the local area. We rarely revisit places as so often the original memory becomes tarnished but not on this occasion. We had a great time - no doubt helped by the fantastic weather!
The villa is very well maintained and furnished by the owners. On arrival they had left ample supplies for our first night - milk, butter, fruit, water etc plus a bottle of wine! They are also very welcoming and speak excellent English.
We found the best local grocery store to be Eroski in Calle Avgda Tucan, Alcudia. Very well stocked with 7 day opening and just 10 minute drive away. We would also recommend a wander round Pollensa, the Old Town Alcudia and the Roman Remains.
If you want some peace and quiet in lovely surroundings then this is the place.

“Haven of Tranquility”

We have just returned from a very relaxing week long stay at Villa Vertent. This is a truly lovely villa. It has character, the decor is excellent, it is very comfortable and well equipped.

For our arrival Juan had left bread, meat, cheese, milk, butter etc etc plus wine. A very useful and pleasant surprise. He is very friendly and speaks perfect English.

The directions from the airport are very precise and easy to follow however a slightly shorter route is available by carrying on the MA13 towards Alcudia and taking a left at the next roundabout. The villa is about 1200m on the left.

We spent many hours either sitting in the shade reading - the temp was 30+ most days - or in the pool. Lovely warm water and an excellent size for two adults and two teenagers to cool-off and have fun.

All the bedrooms have air-con which is essential at this time of year.

There are good supermarkets in both Alcuida and Port de Pollenca. For us the latter is more attractive and has a wide choice of nice restaurants plus a beautiful beach and long promenade.
