The restaurant is very nice with good service, been here 3 years ago this month with 16 people and they were excellent to get us in and serve us with amazing food.

However this time, there were four of us and everything was amazing yet again, yet the main course for the 3 adults came which was chicken Paiella; it came and had tonnes of bones in the dish. This is extremely weird for us British, yet is apparently how the Spanish have it. The bones were not just big bones, they were shards and broken pieces which could potentially hurt a persons throat.

After picking away for a bit, we decided to not eat it and asked the head waiter (referred to as a boss), that we are not eating it and he happily made us a whole new Paiella with no bones and plenty of chicken. As we were partially full, we asked for it as take away and ate it once back at the villa. It was delicious as it should be and as the restaurant to our knowledge usually is.

So to conclude, the restaurant had an awesome location with a brilliant atmosphere and service, food is usually amazing too, just be cautious when ordering a chicken Paiella! Would have been a 4/5 or 5/5 if had no bones.

Please do not visit this restaurant. It will ruin your holiday by leaving you disappointed and somewhat angry that you have been charged so much money for such poor quality food. Looks welcoming from the outside but beware the atrocious food that awaits you. I visited with my family and opted for the suckling pig. Tasteless and fatty. This restaurant is an embarrassment to a lovely old town that is Alcudia. Do not be fooled by their look of professionalism. You have been warned. Please take heed.

My Wife and I had dinner here following a pleasant afternoon over a bottle of local wine one afternoon.
We were both looking forward to trying authentic Paella. What a mistake.
When the dish eventually arrived it was served at the table and looked great. However, we soon discovered that it contained the parts of a chicken that you would normally throw out or boil and use for stock. The rice was completely over seasoned. Not a pleasant experience.

This place is fine for a coffee or a glass of wine and does have a great position in the square for people watching but seriously, eat elsewhere and do not get drawn in by the girl who patrols outside of the restaurant promising you the earth.
There are many better alternatives nearby.

Looks lovely from the outside but a big let down , should have checked Trip advisor first! Had a drink there in the afternoon and thought we would give it a try. Ordered a Chicken Paella , god knows what the meat was but too busy trying to avoid the bones of which there were plenty . Great performance delivering to the table and plating up but absolutely dreadful , i wouldn't have given it to a dog. Avoid this over priced terrible restaurant. Be aware the owner has several places around Alcudia and they are no better.

Terrible, disgusting, foul... These words are an understatement.

After being goded into the restaurant by a seemingly pleasant local girl, who later turned out to be one of the finest actresses I have ever seen. We were seated in full view of those passing by.

The waiter, who seemed to struggle with English then proceeded to take our order for drinks. He then went on to confuse, by explaining that we are either entitled to a glass of wine on the house or of the house, it was as if he was being intentionally ambiguous. It seems the purpose of this 'offering' was to make us pay for a bottle of wine.

Four of us were eating, one ordered the succling pork, one the grilled chicken with red wine sauce and also the 'chefs special selection tapas'

The pork looked very nice, until you broke the crisp skin only to find layers of fat and very little meat inbetween what seemed to be an excessive amount of bones for such a cut of meat. The chicken was dry, bland, whilst the red wine sauce would not look out of place in a ready made meal. The tapas was quite frankly laughable. If this is the best the chef has to offer, I suggest they reconsider their occupation. The tapas consisted of microwave meatballs in a rather flavourless sauce, slices of cheese with again, a flavourless dip, garlic bread which was straight out of a packet and two other dishes which were so bland I cannot even recall what they were.

After having consumed the above monstrosities we were then asked if we would like dessert. Of course we declined and asked for the bill. Considering the dishes where €16+ all around it caused me great distress to part with such money for such terrible food. I was rather offended.

According to the girl the restaurant had won an award from trip advisor, which must be a blatant lie after seeing the reviews other people have left.

It seems the bulk of the revenue of this restaurant must be from tourists visiting the town for the day, all they want is your money and I strongly advise that you avoid the restaurant at all costs. You will be more than disappointed.
