Went to El-Phoenician as staying locally for business. I had been here many years ago so it's always a good sign that a restaurant is still trading some 7 years after my first visit. It's also nice to go to a restaurant that has a) table cloths and b) proper table napkins that are not made of paper.
We went one evening and the place was pretty busy with several large groups. Service was pretty good and, as with most Lebanese or Greek restaurants, the dishes were more than sufficient in size. The only down size was that a colleague found a staple in the hummus but this was immediately replaced and removed from the bill. Will go back again as the food was very tasty
