My one night stay at this hotel was very nice. The hotel is clean, quiet and well run by efficient staff. I would not hesitate to stay again at this lovely hotel. After a long day of hiking the TMB our stay was a welcome rest.

Christophe and his wife Celine made my trip amazing. They catered to all of my needs made my stay an absolute pleasure. Location of the hotel is ideal next to grand montets lift. Room was nice and modern and the jacuzzi was an absolute pleasure after a hard days skiing. Highly recommended.

We spent 3 wonderful relaxing nights at Hotel le Montana. Christophe and his wife Celine were very welcoming and went to every effort and beyond to make us feel at home.
**********************************
The hotel has been beautifully decorated. We stayed in a junior suite which had stunning views. Close (2 minutes walk) to Grand Montet ski area and nice restaurants/shops. It was very peaceful & the spa was great!

Celine makes a lovely light breakfast :) delicious fresh orange juice & scrambled eggs!

The owners were helpful booking taxis, restaurants and full of recommendations.

We could not fault out stay here and look forward to returning in the near future with our children!

Thank you! X

The location of this hotel, 3 minutes walk from the Grand Montets lifts is ideal. This is a family run hotel with the lovely couple in attendance seemingly 24 hours a day and their extended family helping out, This was my third stay and the accommodation is now superb with designer bathrooms and really comfortable beds.

Each night the owner recommended and booked for us a great meal locally, Each morning breakfast was excellent and twice picnics were provided for us at short notice as we had decided to go ski touring on those days. My laundry was done for me in four hours and was immaculate. Basically you could not fault the welcoming service.

I think that if you are skiing in Chamonix region you are likely to be pushing yourself to your limits physically. We certainly did. To return to this lovely haven with pool and out door hot tub was a treat but one well earned.

Room Tip: Check your room has been renovated. They nearly all have been.

The good stuff: first, it's Argentiere, Grand Montets, first class skiing and beautiful views. Second, youre a 5 min walk to the lift. Third, very nice spa facility. Forth, very comfortable rooms - the whole place has been rebuilt in the last few years with modern facilities but with a traditional/rustic design. Fifth, plugs and wifi everywhere - for those who need to do some work on the run. Sixth, Igor the friendly lab. Seventh, helpful staff (they are French, so use the cultural filter...). Eighth, very comfortable lounge with roaring fire.

There is no bad stuff. It is a mix between a chalet and a hotel. No lunch or dinner, but a very nice and long pre-set breakfast. But that's OK, because The Office is just up the road for put out anglos. The spa is not free but it's worth the money. This is more of a family place, not really meant for late night carousing, Bavarian beer songs or English lager louts. Again, The Office.

You would pay $500/night for this in Aspen. But the skiing is better here. Would come back in a heartbeat.

I recently stayed at the Montana and loved it. The newly refurbished rooms are very stylish and the indoor outdoor pool magical, swimming as it snowed. But above all it is the owners who make this a special place - they make you feel so welcome and at home.

We booked a" junior suite", which turned out to be a room crowded with a bed and two sofas so there was hardly room to put anything or to move.
The bath was nice with a jacuzzi tub and separate toilet.
But the expectations of a junior suite were not met by far.
Internet wifi is free but the connection was feeble and slow.
For reasons unknown the restaurant is closed in winter, when guests tend not to want to take walks to have dinner, because it is cold and miserable outside.
Breakfast was ok by french standards, for a 4 star hotel, barely satisfactory.
The photography of the premises is creative and we did not find the space and standard the pictures promise.
All in all, we found the hotel grossly overpriced, even considering high season rates.
