“Immaculate cottage”
Reviewed 20 January 2017 for a stay in August 2016

Stayed in this delightful cottage with our family of six and our German Shepherd Max. The cottage was immaculate and everything inside looked brand new to me. We wanted for nothing here as it was just like home from home. Plenty parking and beautiful views over the hills. There is lots of space in this cottage for a family of six. We had s bit of a wet week but luckily there was lots of games and books to entertain us. BT internet and sports were great and kept the kids entertained with films etc.
Be warned though, if you have small children it's a very busy working farm with lots of tractors going past throughout the day. The cottage is situated on a tight bend so beware! I believe the owners were concidering building an enclosed fence so that would certainly make it safer.
Everyone we met were all very friendly and never hesitated to wave.
We visited nearby loch Ryan and Port Patrick which is a lovely, unspoilt fishing village. Lots of shops, pubs and restaurants in Stranraer.
The weather didn't dampen our holiday and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. I would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely peaceful place with all the comforts of home. KG
