We can't really add much more to all the other reviews which quite rightly rate this as perfect. We stayed in Le Chene which was pretty and well equipped; perfect for us and our 9 month old daughter. The food cooked for us by Nicole and Alex was really great on our first and last nights; all the facilities we needed to cook our own food on the other nights were there too. Lovely position in the french countryside.

We hope to return with friends soon!

We spent a wonderful 6 days staying in Chene Cottage at Les Limornieres. The attic bedroom in the cottage was spacious and comfortable for four of us - 2 adults, one two year old and one baby. We really appreciated all the thought that Nicole and Alex have put into making Les Limornieres a great place to stay - food and wine on arrival, huge selection of toys, books and DVDs in the cottage and outdoor play equipment in the garden. We really enjoyed a three course meal cooked for us by Nicole on our final evening.

We had a wonderful one week holiday and Nicole and Alex made us feel very welcome right from the start. I would recommend this venue to anyone with kids. The other reviews I've read on Trip Advisor are quite right and we too couldn't really fault this venue.

We stayed in Noix which suited us well and catered for 2 adults and 2 kids (11 & 1yr). 2 more families were staying in the other cottages and the kids quickly found new friends with the trampoline, swings, slides, splash pool and safe environment to play outside being an instant winner. We made good use of the BBQ area and the kids we're delighted to see chickens and the veggie garden.

Surrounded by fields growing crops of sweet corn and sunflowers it's very peacefull. The town is only a few min drive away and has just the essential small scale shops you'll need and Grand Ma's restaurant was well worth the visit. There's also a pubic swimming pool and a campsite where friends were staying.

Descartes is a 20min drive away and has the larger hypermarkets, petrol station, street market and the public heated swimming pool was perfect for all ages also very popular the day we went. Going to the nearest vineyard 20 min away for a quick sample at the start of the week was a good move to.

Plenty of rolling countryside and places to visit in the surrounding area made this a wonderful french holiday.

We'd definitely go again.

Nicole and Alex were friendly and helpful hosts. The wine, cheese and breakfast goddies waiting for us on arrival was a lovely touch. We borrowed the bikes and had a great time doing a circuit through the beautiful French countryside. The cottage was full of character, very clean and had everything we needed. Thanks!

We found the perfect French holiday last year and have been very reluctant to share this hidden gem. We have just returned from our second visit and we were not disappointed . The gites and the hosts lived up to and exceeded our hazy summer memories from last year. Our cottage, the largest of the three was very well equipped extremely clean and comfortable. Our hosts Alex and Nicole were as ever incredibly welcoming and our arrival night meal was superb. We spent the week eating great food, star gazing, sleeping late and chilling out in the wonderful gardens. When we managed to drag ourselves away went bike riding with our 6 year old, visited Villandry (beautiful gardens), Grand Pressigny (recently re-opened and fascinating) and Rivau (great for children) all of which were in easy reach. Thanks to Alex and Nicoles excellent local knowledge we visited a nearby goat farmer/cheese producer and had some of the best chevre ever, if only we had managed to get to the vineyard they also recommended! Thank you to the Crawford Family for a super summer holiday. We hope to be back soon.

My daughter and I loved our 5 days at the totally cute and very comfortable little farmhouse at Les Limornieres. Hosts Nicole and Alex were so helpful with suggestions for castles, villages, markets and cafes to visit. We could walk or bike 3km to the local village of Le Grand Pressigny with its fantastic castle and museum and brilliant bakery.
It was the perfect tranquil place to visit between hectic Paris and London and the surrounding countryside is beautiful.

Our third family holiday in these fabulous gites and they just keep getting better and better. If Nicole and Alex don't watch out we'll soon be asking for loyalty cards! The accomodation is spotless, beautifully decorated, well equipped and comfortable. The gardens are colourful, peaceful and full of mini adventure for the little people. Nicole's food is lick-your-lips delish and we loved our little stock in the fridge on arrival. If they do make it any better we might stop recommending it on Tripadvisor for fear we won't be able to get booked next year...
