Such an amazing place, perfect location for visiting a lot of amazing places. The facilities are amazing too - everything you could need for a perfect relaxing holiday. The pool is so good, big enough to swim in and was enjoyed by us all. Particularly enjoyed the outside kitchen, lots of evenings enjoyed there! Thoroughly recommend the villa, Karen was so helpful. Really close to lots of supermarkets and an excellent cave! Thank you for an excellent 2 weeks. :)

“Wonderful, relaxing & comfortable!!”
Reviewed 10 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We stayed in the property as a group of six adults and one infant..... probably bigger than we actually needed, but plenty of room to chill out and not tread on each others toes!!!

We found the villa very clean on arrival and the cleaners were just leaving, but gave us a warm welcome. The rooms we used had air conditioning, which was very welcome.

We had dealt all along with Karen the agent, who was extremely helpful, as was Kim the owner. We only had one very minor problem regarding the pool cover safety clips, I emailed Karen regarding this and she had a man out to fix it within a couple of hours.

The villa has a stunning location, even though the road was a little scary on the first time up, but you got used to it!!! A car is definitely needed, as it is very remote, however the supermarket and bread shop in the valley are excellent.

We used the bbq each day and the pool kitchen (and shower and toilet outside) were excellent. Everything was well equipped.

We had an email from owner prior to going, giving us excellent directions, with photos included of motorway exits, road signs, and points of interest en route and these were extremely helpful....5 stars for that alone!!!!

“Feeling at home”
Reviewed 31 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

The ,Maison, is a large homely villa. The owner and manager could not have been more helpful either. As for the pool and the view across the valley .. well, stunning!
Our family of 9 were all reluctant to leave the Maison at the week's end because we had such a good time together.

The kitchen was well supplied with all cooking tools and equipment and there was plenty of room for all in the lounge, on the terrace and in the poolside dining area.

Refurbished in the 80's or 90's, the property may soon need updating, but the 'class' of the equipment in the bedrooms and elsewhere has shone through.

If you're looking for a great holiday in Provence, then we can recommend the 'Maison de Bonheur'.

“Hard to beat for location, views, and comfort.”
Reviewed 26 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Just returned from a wonderful family holiday in this "home from home" villa. From the minute you turn into the steep drive you cannot fail to be impressed with the view from the swimming pool terrace. Set in well kept grounds with a large pool and outhouse kitchen, this villa met our every need. Bedrooms are large and well laid out with most being Air Conditioned, and the ones that are not are situated in the cooler part of the property. Everything you could need is here including the amazing "Home Cinema" system which teenagers and adults alike were impressed with for late night movies. You "do" need a car here as it's quite hilly and even getting to "Grasse" if you want to catch the bus or train to the coast is a half hour drive. Far better to take your own transport or hire a car as this really opens up this wonderful region to you. The "Gorge du Verdon" is a must ! and it wouldn't be the South of France without a stroll along the promenade at Nice or Cannes. Nobody wanted to leave and you can't say more than that about a holiday. Both Kim and Karen go out of their way to be helpful and nothing is too much trouble, they answered every and all queries with aplomb........we will be back !

“Fabulous, already want to book for next year.”
Reviewed 14 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Villa and its facilities were great, the location was excellent with fantastic views easy access to town and local shops. Easily enough room in the villa for 9 adults we had 7 on our visit. Karen and Steve provided wonderful assistance during our stay. You do need a car to get around, we took bikes (but quite hilly) and kayaks (for the lake) with us, very little use. Would have been better saving the space for wine to bring home from the local vineyard. We used the railway station at Grasse about 25 minute drive, with free under ground car park, to visit Monaco and Cannes.

“Excellent property for family celebration”
Reviewed 5 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We visited this villa in June 2015 to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary. We couldn't have picked a better property in Provence which catered as well for all our family needs. Our family group consisted of four adult couples, two four year olds and one infant. The pool and outdoor eating area with BBQ and pizza oven were a real hit, as was the nice living room to relax, cool off and watch a movie or two using the incredible wall projector system. Rooms were nice and most were equipped with air conditioning units, one of which broke on our second night however Karen, the agent, was quick to have it looked at and fixed straight away. The view from the villa was breathtaking with fantastic sunsets every night. Karen (agent) and Kim (owner) were great to deal with and gave some great information prior to our trip. If you're planning a family reunion or get together, this property certainly fits the bill.

Liked best: Pool , view and outdoor eating area.
Liked least: Although mosquitoes were not a big problem (a few of us got bitten at night), the property would do well to install a few mosquito screens to some of the bedroom windows so that air can still flow in but none of the insects

The villa is in a wonderful position with stunning sunsets. It is everything it says it is and more. It was our first villa holiday and we couldn't have had a better first time experience. The appliances are all top quality and the villa is very comfortable and homely. It really is perfect.
